Tariffs announced on Canada, China, & Mexico goods

In a shocking turn of events, the agriculture industry in the United States is facing a crisis of unprecedented proportions, while just across the border, Canada is flourishing. In this video, we explore how the once-dominant U.S. agricultural powerhouse is on the brink of collapse, as Canadian farmers celebrate their most successful export season in years.

How did this drastic shift happen, and what is behind the crumbling of the American farming industry? From rising tariffs to labor shortages, and climate issues to disrupted supply chains, American farmers are grappling with challenges that seem impossible to overcome. Meanwhile, Canada’s agricultural industry, supported by strategic government programs and a streamlined, efficient system, has been positioned to seize the opportunity.

We’ll delve into the stories of five pairs of states and provinces—where one side is struggling, and the other is thriving—despite being separated by just a few hundred miles. Join us as we uncover how U.S. regions like Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin are losing ground to Canadian powerhouses such as Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Ontario.

From soybeans to beef, dairy to cherries, we’ll examine how Canada is stepping in to fill the void, gaining market share from the United States, and what this means for future generations of farmers. Discover how Saskatchewan has quietly risen as a new soybean hub, replacing Iowa, and how Alberta is taking over the global beef market. We also explore the sudden rise of Ontario’s dairy industry and how Quebec is becoming the undisputed leader in maple syrup production, pushing Maine’s proud tradition to the side.

This isn’t just an agricultural story. It’s a tale of shifting global markets, political decisions, and how the U.S. is losing its once-unshakable dominance. In this eye-opening report, we explore the factors behind this transformation and the impact on everyday Americans.

What does the future hold for American farmers? Can the U.S. reclaim its position in the global agricultural market, or has it already been overtaken? Watch now to understand the seismic shift happening in agriculture, and the untold story behind the rise of Canada.

Trump Trade Plan: waffle, flip flop, waffle, waffle, taco.

Trump sparks confusion

Supposedly a few letters are going out today. And some deals may or may not be done. Maybe. But now nothing goes into effect until August 1 because reasons.

“No, there are going to be tariffs, the tariffs, the tariffs are going to be, the tariffs,” the president began uncertainly. “I think we’ll have most countries done by July 9, yeah. Either a letter or a deal.”

There you have it! There are going to be tariffs, the tariffs, the tariffs are going to be, the tariffs!

Stable fucking genius. 😆

Trump is lashing out in a tariff frenzy again. Now he’s attacking the BRICS nations because they criticized his tariffs. He’s a petulant toddler! 😆

In a joint statement, leaders took a swipe at Trump’s tariffs, saying they “voice serious concerns about the rise of unilateral tariff and non-tariff measureswhich distort trade and are inconsistent with WTO rules.”

Trump’s petulant rant:

“Any Country aligning themselves with the Anti-American policies of BRICS, will be charged an ADDITIONAL 10% Tariff,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “There will be no exceptions to this policy.”

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

So 100 countries said “Fuck Off” and are getting tariffs?? Great negotiating!!!

Now that maybe the tariffs will all come to bear, we shall see what happens to prices and inflation.

How many replacement companies have started here in Amerikkka? Now these companies can bring in “legal” labor forces to be “responsibly” cared for…

All those who made their money selling foreign made goods? Fuck off!! This is Amerilkkka First!!!

You want foreign crops and produce?? Give the US A MINUTE! We can find a way for some good Amerikkkan to pay us for making allowances

Japan's not too happy with TACO - has more or less openly said that Trump is lying. Trump is rapidly unfriending Japan. Unbelievable.

Growing sense among the Japanese people that America is not a reliable partner. Only 22% of Japanese now trust the USA. Japanese polling is strongly opposed to concessions. They have an election coming up and the Japanese PM is expected to lose seats and cannot afford to make concessions.

It's going to be amusing in its own way when Japan sells off US debt and pushes US interestes rate up.

Has Trump divested himself of $$$$
Is he ready to buy whatever the world decides is the new chosen currency?
Or is he really investing his own money on crypto?? Why would he do that? He owns all the crypto he fucking printed for himself…
And… all those trading cards!!

Why would the whole world want to stay in $$ if they are doing business with us?

But !! We defend them!! Really?? NATO is moving to defend itself.

PUTIN wins!!! I bet his arm is so tired of being rammed up inside ‘rump

Canada quickly changes export markets while USA exports plunge. Latest trade data released. Mark Carney diplomacy and deal making paying off big time.

A Canadian view. This is pretty good and very Canadian LOL

Canada is diversifying away from the USA rapidly. Exports to US decreased while exports to other countries reached a record high. Imports from the USA have nose-dived.

$1.5B Megaproject in Canadian aluminum expansion — EU & Asia buy on to importing aluminium from Canada

Canada bypassing the USA on alumiuium and going global with its aluminum game. USA under Trump is unpredictable and Canada needs to decouple from the US economy......

90 deals in 90 days ain't happening.......

Trump's now sending out tariff letters - looks like there are no deals........Donald Trump is an absolute economic idiot. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Trump unilaterally imposed new tariffs, but warned those countries that if they retaliate he’ll raise tariffs even more. And he’s still pretending his tariffs are reciprocal. 😆

25% tariff on Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Kazakhstan. 30% on South Africa. 40% on Laos and Myanmar.

Trump warned nations against retaliation over his latest gambit in his letters.

“If for any reason you decide to raise your Tariffs, then, whatever the number you choose to raise them by will be added” to the threatened levels, Trump wrote.

I assume those countries will reciprocate despite Donnie’s threat.

More TrumpTariffs:

The entire list of seven letters released Wednesday so far includes 30% rates for Algeria, Iraq, Libya, and Sri Lanka; 25% rates for Brunei and Moldova; and a 20% rate for the Philippines.

The nations picked are weird. So far it’s been small economies except for China, Japan and South Korea.

I wonder if an Asian woman refused to pee on him? Something about Asia has Donnie very upset. 😆

Canada Slaps 50% Tariff On $22 BILLION Of U.S Goods!

Trump just triggered a global economic firestorm—and Canada struck back with a crushing 50% tariff on $22 billion in U.S. imports. In this high-stakes showdown, we break down how Mark Carney’s retaliation threatens to unravel U.S. auto supply chains, spike aluminum prices, and ignite a ripple effect through the Rust Belt, just months before the 2025 election. With real-time data from Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Wall Street Journal, this cinematic investigation exposes the trade war’s hidden contradictions, collapsing alliances, and the carbon weapon that’s quietly rewriting global rules. Watch to see how this silent tariff war could reshape power, profits, and the very future of North American industry.

Canada has used the very clauses and rules in the Agreement the US brazenly broke - a brilliant one-up master stroke against a self-proclaimed 'genius' of a conman.

This one is realy worth listening to. All sorts of ramifications and side effects, with Carney outplaying Trump and targeting States that support Trump. Carney is continually recalibrating on tariffs and policy on trade, cutting new deals.

The US imports 50% of its copper, mostly from Chile and Canada

Trump causing more chaos and turmoil in markets, with huge ramifications for American consumers. This is gonna end well. Copper is used all across the economy - this 50% tariff is on top of tariffs of aluminium and steel, and these additional costs will be picked up by the American consumer and this is creating economic uncertainty. Inflation is expected to climb as a result of tariffs.

And Trump's presurimg the Feds to drop rates. LOL. Much more likely to go up and then he will rant even more. The only real conclusion from all this is that Trump is nuts and no-one can rein him in. We have identified a flaw iwth the US political system. When your President is batshit bugnuts, it's hard to stop him short of impeachment and that card's been play before and is no longer valid.

See you are not talking about Epstein. Everything works as it should.

Is this the beginning of the end of the American empire?

This is how the Aussie's see it (it's a month old but relevant)

Trump is wrecking the system that America created, that's maintain world stabiliry for 70 years. Without an American hegemony, instability will grow. Trump has lost all credibility and is destroying America as a superpower - and world markets are now questioning the level of US Debt. If you are the center of the world's monetary system and you default, you create chaos, with unpredicable outcomes..... hes also on the very of losig the US dollar its status as the world reserve currency

"We are witnessing the implosion of the American Empire, accelerated by Trump"

The Big Beautiful Bill is an act of fiscal vandalism, addimg 3-4 trillion to he US Federal debt, and investors believe the US now has too much debt. US Bonds and US dollars are being sold off, something that usualy prceds a crisis. An empire begins to decline when it spends more in its debts and its military (a pattern that it's histprically verifiable), and when this happens, as an Empire, it's finished.

This is the sort of really good analysis that is missing on US Media.

Trump vs Brazil

Trump says he’s going to put a 50% tariff on imports from Brazil because they have former President Bolsonaro on trial for attempting a coup. JFC.

The highlight of his letter barrage late Wednesday was his announcement of a coming 50% tariff on goods from Brazil in a letter sent to its president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Trump cited the country's treatment of former President Jair Bolsonaro, who is on trial in Brazil’s Supreme Court on charges that he plotted a coup in 2022.
"This Trial should not be taking place," Trump said. "It is a Witch Hunt that should end IMMEDIATELY!"

Trump defends all coup attempts. What a piece of shit.

Trump vs Brazil, part 2

The US has a trade surplus with Brazil. And yet the stable genius announced a 50% tariff on them.

Brazil is doing the sensible, predictable thing. They are going to place reciprocal tariffs on the US. (Donnie still doesn’t understand the meaning of “reciprocal”.)

Brazil vows to match US tariffs after Trump threatens 50% levy

Say goodbye to $50 billion of US exports to Brazil. At least until Doddering Donnie TACOs again.

senseless tariff due to a political matter rather than trade.

Political ?? ‘rump is punishing Brazil because they are attacking his butt buddy billionaire. This is personal! So great he has the power to demand tariffs for and reason he wants.
He is using Amerikkka as his weapon of punishment. We are his bitch now.
Read the Declaration of Independence
People have the right to Revolution
People definitely have the right to punish a leader who attempts a coup!
Ahhhh, but not in Trumplikkkan Amerikkka

Trump vs Canada, part 825

Remember that the US had a trade surplus with Canada (excluding oil) but Demented Donnie continues his unprovoked trade war on our former ally.

Trump’s 35% Canada tariff plan deepens a rift between the neighbors

The higher rates would go into effect Aug. 1, creating a tense series of weeks ahead for the global economy as recent gains in the S&P 500 stock index suggest many investors think Trump will ultimately back down on the increases.

And Donnie continues to pretend that other nations pay his tariffs. They don’t. Tariffs are a tax on American businesses and citizens.

The unreliable United States …

Hours before Trump’s letter, Carney posted on X a picture of himself with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, saying, “In the face of global trade challenges, the world is turning to reliable economic partners like Canada.” Implied in his statement was that the U.S. has become unreliable because of Trump’s haphazard tariff regime, which has gone through aggressive threats and reversals.

MAGA sheep will immediately return to ranting about how much they hate Canada. Obedient sheep. 😆

Did Trump lie about a supposed trade deal with Vietnam?

Straight after last Wednesday’s call with Trump, Vietnam’s party chief To Lam told his negotiating team to keep working to bring the tariff rate down, the people said, asking not to be identified as the talks are confidential. The 20% figure came as a surprise as Vietnam believed it had secured a more favorable tariff range, the people said.
The day after Trump’s Truth Social post on Vietnam, in which he called Lam “an absolute pleasure” to deal with, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said trade negotiators were still coordinating with their US counterparts to finalize the details of the agreement.

Since then, Vietnam’s leaders have skirted the issue in official comments. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh instead focused on Vietnam’s efforts to diversify export markets and supply chains to adapt to the new tariff policy and his comments were echoed a few days later by a deputy trade minister.

Demented Donnie was desperate to complete a deal, so he made one up. 😆

And 35% on Canada???

What “Genius” goes into figuring these percents???

When will the left leaning Marxist press ever get around to forcing him to face the Truth about who pays tariffs??
