I've tried several of those (hey, maybe I'm not so vanilla as I thought!), but the reality is always disappointing.

Whereas in bed you have plenty of room, a soft mattress for extra bounce and to protect your knees and elbows, and afterwards the wife can have a nap while I make breakfast.

That said, afternoon sex in bed is hotter than morning sex by several orders of magnitude.

My first thought on the title of this thread was going to be a perfect fit for a recent silly little SF&F series of mine called Fantasia, which used magic to give you literal fantasy sex.

I feel like this survey needed an additional question asking how porn had informed their respondents' answers because I would wager it would be a large percentage. A lot of these are just your standard porn plot fantasies. But hey, that's what works so it's at least nice to have data to corroborate.

I do kind of wonder if the list would be different if it were based on the respondent's ages and relationship statuses. Does the presence of a (more or less) willing partner reduce or increase one's sexual fantasizing? Does it increase or decrease with age? Are any such trends detected likely to be significant, or is there too much individual variation to draw conclusions based on the chosen categories?

9 of those are what I'd expect, but on a pool table? I'd expect couch or kitchen table to be more popular. Pool tables are pretty hard - I guess standing bent over it counts?

I think I've written all the others except car/limo because it doesn't appeal. And pool/ocean where activity has been kept to non-chafing options only.
