Are you Living a Life that you'd Love to Read About?

Yes and no. I often think about how my life could have been better if I'd done certain things differently. But then I'm a dreamer, not a doer and I don't possess a single shred of ambition or drive, so I owe my current situation to three very singular pieces of luck. If things had gone differently then I wouldn't be who I am today, which is a rather convouted way of saying that I'm not living a life I'd love to read about but it's not a bad life nonetheless.

And it got me thinking. I hope that you all are. What is something interesting that you've recently done? And it doesn't have to be climbing Mt. Fuji or anything gigantic. Just something that you did that you found interesting. Tried a new recipe? Planted some vegetables? Found the perfect hat?

Let us know!!
I've lived the life now, you all are reading about it

Well, it’s not dull and there are plenty of interesting characters, however I mainly read murder mysteries

The question was: Are you Living a Life that you'd Love to Read About?

The answer: Yes. But only as a cautionary tale.

🌼Yes, I've even thought about writing my story in the past.

From abuse to addictions;
Deaths and drugs;
Mental health and marriage:

My life really wasn't boring...

I'd read it.

I grew up poor.

I’ve worn canvas tennis shoes, which didn’t last the year as needed before we might afford another pair.

I’ve warmed my stomach with a cup of tea made from two used teabags, eating one piece of blackened bread while watching for the school bus through the dining room window. It would pass over a bridge a quarter mile away on a cold winter day, giving me just enough time to run outside through the snow to catch that bus before it left without me.

I’ve gone to bed feeling full enough after a dinner of just rice with a spoonful of sugar and some cinnamon for flavor, grateful for my parents doing their best.

I’ve stared listlessly at the snow falling outside my bedroom window, marveling at the layer of ice on the inside of the glass.

I’ve glanced at the trash pile in the summer, fifty feet from our dining room window, then carefully raised the window to take the shot, ridding us of one more rat.

I’ve enjoyed the simple thrill of placing a penny on a railroad track, … and searching for it after a train passed.

I’ve walked across a railroad bridge, balancing on a foot-wide steel beam, as a train passed beneath me.

I’ve climbed a twenty-five foot tower, in a blizzard, carrying a wrench, to turn an antenna, merely for the thrill of talking on a borrowed radio to another lonely soul.

I’ve built rockets and excitedly watched as they flew into the sky.

I’ve stared at numbers, demonstrating the ways they behave, to the amazement of my betters.

And while I’ve learned to hate, I've also learned to forgive and ignore the derision of countless classmates, teachers, and other peers in my solitude,

I have depended upon and been there for my parents when they needed me.

I’ve endured pain of broken bones, discarded love, and unrequited love.

I’ve struggled through the necessary trials of building muscle, nerves, and knowledge.

I’ve starved for days and trudged day after day, night after night, in cold and heat, through seemingly endless miles, carrying the weight of the world on my back.

I’ve sailed a boat in the tropics, bounced over waves on jet skis, driven power boats and race cars.

I’ve skied black diamond moguls, climbed and descended shear rock cliffs, crawled through tight spaces in caves, launched myself toward the Earth from balloons, helicopters, and planes hundreds and even thousands of feet in the air, and swam through schools of fish to pick lobster from the ocean floor.

I’ve enjoyed fine wines, fine meals, and some of the finest single malt scotches.

I’ve fearlessly walked city streets, dark alleys, deserts, and jungles, alone, at all hours of the day and night.

I’ve experienced and pleased literally dozens of women (or so they’ve said), each and every one of them to never be forgotten, and they’ve thrilled me.

I’ve stared patiently through the scope for hours, … waiting for the target.
I’ve extinguished lives.

I’ve missed love, lost love, … and found love.

Through it all, EVERYTHING has made me who I am.
I’m still living and as always, looking for more in ... this ... one ... life!

And during all of this, I’ve helped create life, holding them, nurturing them, doing my best to support them
… pushing them out to go forth to do the same
… living a life, I hope they too will love!

As Snoop Dog said in a song: “Every day above ground is a great day, remember that!”

Hmmm....good question. Maybe some would find the book interesting.....a successful business life and a personal life that was good but messy at times for both my ex and I

I find a spanking porn video and listen to the slaps and screams on my phone in my car so by the time I get to work I head right to the men’s room and call my wife and face time her so she can watch me spray my cumshot on the wall behind the toilet.
