Another rant

Someone sent me a DM asking a question. The question was asking something that I had already explicitly stated in another thread. I mean, if I already said yes, why would I answer your questions privately? After I ignored him for a few hours, he sent another message, "Guess not." So I responded. Here's what I wrote:

You have no bio. No picture. No posts. And you basically restated exactly what I wrote in one of my posts.

Why in the fuck would I respond to you? Seriously.

Guys, don't be this guy. Be original in what you write. Don't just rephrase something that has already been said into a question and expect a response. Introduce yourself. Ask about the post (but not just rewording the very same fucking thing into a question). Tell me about you. If I don't respond, take the L and move on. Get over yourself.

Right? It would be different if I was dealing with 1 or 2 a day even. But dozens and sometimes hundreds in a day, I'm not going to answer things like that at all.

You have to catch my attention somehow. Age is important but it's not the only thing. You're a 51-year old male. Great. That's a start but not enough for a response.

Give me your age, are you married, do you have kids, what do you do for work, maybe a couple of kinks.

Don't overload the message. I've received a few that are paragraphs long. I'm not reading all that. Give me a couple or three sentences.

I sometimes fall behind on the threads but when asking do so on the thread. If I catch my error I correct it as soon as possible.

I can see trying to start a conversation about a thread or post to try and break the ice. Perhaps not exactly what you previously answered but something to that effect.
The no bio thing on profile where it's basically blank is a red flag for me. I usually do not respond if they continue to DM me I just block them.
