Daddy's Little Girl - Fourth Edition

I wish my Daddy was here to take care of me... I overdid sports badly, and now I'm just aching all over instead of sleeping. (No not tired muscles kind of ache - even my hands ache and they did literally nothing else than hold the map...)

Being achy is the worst. Can you take something for it, an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen?
I have. Both ibuprofen and paracetamol, as much as is safe, I know from experience that I need both. It tool ages for it to work... Then I woke up after a short moment of sleep, and it took me quite some time to realise that I need a new batch. So now waiting for it to work again.

This kind of ache (connective tissues I think) is very persistent, worse than migraine or menstrual pain. Even now the migraine disappeared first and hasn't returned.

That's the way I do it.

I hope it works quickly so you can get some rest and that your daddy can bring you more comfort soon.

He's actually coming tomorrow evening. But gotta survive this night alone. (It's past 2 am here. It takes 30min more at least before the meds work. The first batch took 3h...)

If you are still hurting in the morning, maybe try a warm bubble bath with Epsom salts added.
I wish Bunny snuggles had healing powers.
Bath is not a thing in Finland. You'd struggle to find even one. (If I emptied my sauna of stuff waiting for the relocation I could heat that up, but no Epsom can be used there.)

I've stuffed myself with electrolytes internally, though so I'm not deficient, and now I'm taking a new batch of meds right upon waking up, as at least my shoulder is aching (which is weird really, it didn't do anything yesterday, and it's not among the usual parts to ache like legs are.) Oh well, this will pass....

Just caught me by surprise honestly, but I can see now that it shouldn’t have and it was a serious inquiry, I do apologize and hope you did get some relief.
I'm sure she got some relief. If you'd read just one more post above, you'd see I was talking with someone.

Not sure where everyone lives, but if you are in the path of any of the mammoth heat waves, please stay safe and hydrated.

I'm sure many of you have Daddies to remind you, but as a friend, I want to remind you as well. :)

I learned today that we are more susceptible to dehydration and heat exhaustion, as a "side effect" of medication that treats depression and anxiety....
And maybe this is all meds, but my partner and I were talking about it because the lost was short but we knew most of the medications
