Anyone able to contact litfan10?

Like the title says: Anyone been able to get in touch with Litfan10 recently? His usual contact email isn't working at the moment and from a quick google search it seems the provider (@charter.net) either is winding down or has wound down offering service. If any of the old guard has ways to contact him, maybe let him know. I'm outta options and I'm kinda worried.

I haven't messaged him in many years. If I remember correctly, he lived in New Hampshire or Vermont. I believe his SO was on Lit as well, but I don't remember her nickname. I'll try to go back and look for it.

I have an address in upstate New York (of his bookshop, now closed) and I know that his SO was here on Lit. I tried PM'ing her handle but the forum software said "user not found". Thanks for looking though, maybe you have something I don't.

litfan10 and slave_ still have accounts on Lit. You can search for them on the story side. I don't see that anything in litfan10's profile has changed since 2023.

Edit: I've been in contact with litfan10 over the past five years, we've become good friends and I'm a bit alarmed because the email we've used to talk through has stopped working as of three days ago. My last exchange with him was five days ago and I'm very sure I didn't do anything to piss him off to the point of him blocking both me and my lady love (who also has his email address).

Good luck getting in touch. If his email provider took them unprepared when they shut down, then it could take a while for either of them to get new addresses and reestablish contacts--if that's even possible.

That happened to me years ago. It was a mess, and it would be worse now.

I know he had some recurring health issues, hopefully he's okay. Him and his wife are amazing people.

Quick update: I got a mail from him this morning. Still can't reply because my mails bounce off his provider but at least I got a lifesign from him.

(Uh huh. Probably Gmail. Google has so tightened their "security" requirements so hard it is nearly impossible (read: "costly") for independent e-mail providers to meet their requirements. Been fighting it for two years. Intended to drive smaller users to their service... and surveillance.)

@MrPixel I'm on Gmail, he's on charter.net and my mails get rejected by his provider for "suspicious activity" which is utter nonsense. I don't even post links in my emails. *shakes head*
