I listen to EDM at the gym, or sometimes podcasts.

I have listened to a couple audiobooks on long drives, but they just dont work for me, esp we stop...say for lunch or whatever or the night and go to it the next day...I get all...wait...we didnt stop at the end of a chapter...what the fuck is happening.
And I dont get to savor every word which can happen with certain authors that I feel are more talented for one reason or another.
