Quite a scene today at DHS Secretary Noem’s press conference. CA Senator Padilla barged into the room as she was speaking and began shouting at her. He then resisted security officers as they removed him from the room and calmly restrained him with handcuffs. Governor Newsom and Senate Minority Leader Schumer are actually defending the senator’s behavior and claim he’s a victim of mistreatment by the security officers. Apparently Kamala Harris and other Democrats are jumping into their party’s race to the bottom.

In a normal administration if there were any question as to his identity, and it defies logic and reality that they didn’t know, they would be halted and asked to identify themselves, not be put down and handcuffed. Another example of the authoritarian green light.

He has every right to question the Secretary. And as a Senator, who was known to be on the premises, your insinuation that he was an unknown is laughable. He was meeting with a general next door. Noem knew he was there.
