Tariffs announced on Canada, China, & Mexico goods

Trump also announced a 25% tariff on iPhones.

I guess Apple hasn’t paid enough bribes to Donnie’s Swiss bank account.

He can’t legally tariff the products of a specific company, so the imbeciles in the Clown Show administration will have to work that out.

“Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Trump announces 50% tariff on the EU starting June 1.

Part of his fake justification is their VATs, which are taxes on the sale of all goods, not just imports. Of course we’ve seen that the true reason Donnie is upset is because the EU won’t lower tariffs unilaterally.

“Thank you for your attention to this matter.” 😆
so how many countries begging him "Sir, sir, we're queueing up desperate to make a fantastic deal with you" does this nix?

Donnie the Tariff Fetishist says the steel tariff will double from 25% to 50%

President Donald Trump says he’s going to double the tariff rate on steel from 25% to 50%, a dramatic increase that could further increase prices for the metal used to make housing, autos and other goods.

Trump was speaking at U.S. Steel’s Mon Valley Works–Irvin Plant in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, to announce investments by Japan’s Nippon Steel.

The price of steel products has increased roughly 16% since Trump became president, according to the government’s producer price index.

Donnie’s tariff fetish is a real obsessive compulsive disorder. He should seek help.

Republican Joe Kennedy grills Republican Lutnik on tariffs. Nutlik has terrible answers and Joe let's him know.

What the fuck is going on with your party?

Does anyone in your party know how tariffs work?

Sorry, my bad.
Dear penguins, dear Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta, dear all the other merry band of sovereign entities not giving a shit, please accept my deepest apology. I don't give a shit about his madness either.

Because I could only put one  in the other spot. This also deserves five stars for epic writing, wit, and being spot on. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤩

What tariffs are in force today, is it the same as yesterday?
What about steel imports from the UK, Ozempic from Ireland?

It's difficult to keep up. The policy changes at the same time as Trump's diaper.

And where are the tariffs on golf balls?
But the tariffs are actually easy to understand. If the products are for people who have little or no money, then the tariffs are at least 50%, unless the product comes from China and the weekend does not fall on a Wednesday. Then the tariff is 150%, unless the tariff is announced for more than a week, in which case the tariff is 75%. However, if the head of state, president, grand mogul or emir gives 47 an aeroplane that has no useful purpose, or invites him to a golf course, the tariff is 0%.
I'll explain the other special paragraphs that apply from Friday, but nobody knows which Friday.

Premier Doug Ford (Ontario) is calling Trump's latest round of tariffs "economic war on every single business in Canada" and he's right. Trump has declared war om Canadas economy. Ford's saying there was an agreement - US imposed 25% tariffs on steel and aluminium, Canada imposed 25% as well, and out of the blue, Trump added another 25%. Trump just added $15 billion in tax onto American taxpayers. Canada buys $30 billion of steel and aluminium from the US annually - Canada now has no choice but to onshore this and stop buying all steel and alumimiun products from the US - bringing those jobs and that money back to Canada and in the process, eliminating 10's of thousands of American jobs. There's another $200 billion of infrastructure work underway that uses a trendous amount of steel from the US.....

"...when you have a verbal agreement with your closest allies and friends and then he turns on you, onve bitten, you're a little shy the second time...."

Trump's running around like a rabid dog, bitimng every friend the USA used to have.

A verbal agreement is worth the paper it's written on.

Trump's word is worth the contents of his diaper.

Trump has hit FAFO time with Canada. Ford is serious about steel and alumiumim and Ontarion consumes $30 billion of US steel and aluminium products made in the USA annually. Canada is about to onshore that business and do it themselves - which is easy for them - they have the raw materials and the manufacturing capability and they can do that far faster than the US can build aluminium smelters - let alone generate the needed electricity. Economic chaos, they name is Trump.

I wonder of Americans felt like this watching Herbert Hoover as the Great Depression kicked off. Might be time to ask my granddad about Polish passports. LOL
