❌Monthly Song Challenge: Archived🎵

My wife and I went to a concert this past weekend and in the music between sets the theater played Nick Cave's "Red Right Hand." She said it made her want to watch Scream. I said it made me want to watch Peaky Blinders. So for a prompt:

A Song That Immediately Makes You Think of a TV Show or Movie Scene.
Automatically, my mind goes to Hellboy, even though it was a cover.

The band I sing with did this song for me on my birthday. When I started to sway back and forth, one of them said, “Stop it, you look like Elaine Benes from Seinfeld”. I stopped…. 🙂
I didn't know Elaine's last name
but
swinging and swaying and singing and straying are allowed in LIt.

Day 28: A song for thunderstorms

Idk, listening to classical music while the heavens open is just a vibe.
Henryk Wieniawski - Violin Concerto No.2 performed by Itzhak Perlman
Day 28: A song for thunderstorms

I had to 🤩 these songs. Two are super different, but was pretty blown away.

Both very different yet both good for thunderstorms. Left my imagination in overdrive.

So glad you liked it, yours was awesome too. Especially with your poem, it was really lovely 😍

I never would have thought about Sandstorm for that prompt but as usual @MisterChillax has great taste 😊

Day 27 - A song with all lowercase letters in the title.

To the best of my knowledge, this way of titling songs on albums is a relatively new thing. Or at least it isn't/wasn't that prominent. I know some of the others posted various Olivia Rodrigo and other songs, but I do actually really love this song, especially as an album opener announcing just what the record's ethos is.

Crowded House - When You Come

Late to post this, but everybody needs to know that this is the only song in rock history (as far as I know) that explicitly mentions cumulonimbus (the cloud that causes thunderstorms). And it's an awesome song, and the lyrical theme is rather appropriate for Literotica. So there you have it...
