From what I hear, AK47s can be stored in a bog, thrown onto a bonfire, tossed into a pond and used without further maintenance. Talk about 'budget rifles' jamming in a firefight is relevant to the expensive-budget rifles.

When the US has pulled out of NATO, other countries will be encouraged to join. If Trump hadn't ripped up the Budapest Agreement, Putin wouldn't have invaded Ukraine and all this would be moot.

I remember reading an Autralian White Paper on defense that used Canada as an illustration of what the Autralian military did not want to be.....I can't remember the wordig but it wss actually retty funny in that dry Aussie understated way LOL they really took the piss out of the Canadians and very politely too.
