Legislation unlike our current President

It's the difference of temporary versus permanence.

That debate went horribly for the felon. Due to his senility, he repeated the lie about Haitians eating pets even after being told it was a lie.

His mental agility continues to decline faster than the stock market after the tariff announcement.

To be excruciatingly fair, that might not have been because of his senility. It could also be because he's a malignant narcissist. They tend to be exceptionally good liars, in part because they don't feel guilty about it like you and I would, and in part because they tend to believe anything they want to be true is in fact true.
