Capitalism is fine. It gets shit done. But the mentality of “profit over people at all costs” needs to fucking stop. If people need help to live decent lives, they should be helped. These companies, and people, that make billions a year need to do more. What exactly is situational.
But sharing of resources all over the world needs to happen more consistently, and us choosing empathy needs to be much more of a thing. Caring for others needs to be more of a societal prerogative.
