Sex & Shenanigans

The original.... Italian Job??? Are you completely insane? Or is this a joke and I'm too much of a goober to see it.... I'm not sure...

But the Italian Job from 1969 with Michael Caine? That is an awesome movie. 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰
I will have to politely disagree. It is the most incongruous, nonsensical movie I've ever watched! And you glanced right over my self preservation joke! Now that's an earworm.

THANK YOU!

Caine was fantastic, it is the epitomy of a late-60s heist comedy , had a fantastic literal cliffhanger ending (since British law at the time did not allow criminals to get away with it), and "you were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"

The Italian mob got involved, and jammed up traffic for real. The traffic jams and public reactions were all real.

Fantastic movie.

Here’s hoping she feels better… all the hugs and love to you!

I’m finally at a place where I’m at peace with my mum passing over a decade ago. I can laugh and joke now… but it was not the case for a long time.
My mom passed well over 20 years ago. It does get easier with time.
It also gets easier to make more and more inappropriate dead mom jokes. Which can make for some memorable reactions when people aren't expecting it. So that's fun.

She is going to be fine this time, which is why I can joke, but at 87, it's an inevitability. But she raised me to laugh at the inevitable.

When she does go, I will howl like Coyote... forever, probably. Now my Dad? I am planning a wake for him, minus the whole "mourning" part.
