Round'em up,

Sure. History gives Democrats good reasons to be optimistic about winning the House and if the president’s poll numbers are bad next year they’ll have even more reason for optimism. I’ll certainly be watching Congressional polls next year.

🙄

The “POLLS" ALSO “gave Democrats good reasons to be optimistic” in the recent Wisconsin Supreme Court election that saw the decent, intelligent Democrat backed candidate STOMP the MAGAt republican candidate - despite “Leon” spending TWENTY MILLION in an attempt to buy the election.

While I agree in principle, I see things slightly differently than you post here.

DEI wasn't giving power to people, it was taking power and using it to bludgeon those who had little to no favor with the government. DEI was all about forcing compliance with an ideal rather than an reality. Which, at its core, is nothing but the application of brute power against the powerless.

That is your opinion. However DEI was specifically addressing the imbalance of power in society. It 'levelled the playing field' so to speak. Something the authoritarians and barbarians masquerading as conservatives arf on about endlessly. It isn't white men who are being disappeared from history in the Pentagon's website after all.

As for freedom; if you look you'll notice that most conservatives don't really care what someone does inside their homes or what lifestyle they live. Most, not all. Nor is this unbounded as there are some things which even a tolerant society cannot accept.

Seriously? Then why is so much of the current administration's efforts about demanding people with other sexualities live by the administration's standards? Why are they dumping trans people from the military?

OTOH, most progressives have no tolerance for the lives conservatives lead. They are vehemently anti-religion, anti-stability, and anti-society (as well as anti-social in many cases). In order to deal with this they create disorder in the name of order, denialism in the name of fairness, and anarchy in the name of organization. And then they blame those who do not espouse those ideals as the cause or reason for the collapse of their dreams.

For this claim I would like some cites.

These things aren't new, nor are they rooted in maintaining power over the weak or powerless. These are things which a normal and healthy society must have in order for everyone to flourish as much as they can without anyone having to suffer and do without so that a favored few may be elevated into prosperity.

What I am hearing from this statement is, "The system is unfair but it's unfair in my favour so I see no reason to change it."

So I will repeat. Most humans do not understand freedom and when they do they don't like it much.

Why?

Freedom gets in the way of power.

This is BS. DEI did nothing except promote racism/sexism/mental illness over competence.

Because giving the mentally ill weapons is a stupid idea. Nor is it smart to put the mentally ill into positions which they aren't mentally capable of dealing with.

The military has ONE job and that job isn't to make nice nice.

Then you're going to be disappointed.

If that's what you want to believe, I feel sorry for your family and friends that they have to deal with the idiot you turned out to be.

People who have physical disabilities are lesser than in HisArpy's eyes.

How ignorant of a lawyer do you have to be to not comprehend what DEI really means to America?

HisArpy level ignorant.

ship'em out. SCOTUS says the Alien Enemies Act requires minimal 'due process.' The full transcript of the courts ruling has implications for the routine extradition process as well.
Are they rounded up and shipped out yet?

*chuckle*
