Sex & Shenanigans

this is beautiful. You don't see many of them anymore...... Stay after it as they are a sure feel good tree.
My old house had a 45 year old dogwood, I loved it, but it had white blooms which aren't my favorite. This one is a Cherokee Chief Dogwood, which no nursery within 100 miles seemed to have. I'm lucky to have found it!

When I brought my place last year I spent a good two months taking out a load of pampas grass the previous owners had put at the front. Midway through, I got told that pampas grass is a sign for swingers which put the previous owners in a different light!

Have some azaleas in which are starting to grow and look nice but don't have a pic to hand and it's too dark out now to go take one!

It took 2 months as I did my back in going to town on it with a pickaxe, then when I went in for round 2 I found out the hard way there was a bee's nest in it.....

I love that you have one of those!

Cherokee Princesses everywhere, but even in Missouri where dogwood is the State tree and flower, the Chiefs aren't very common.

Very cool.
