The parents of the CHILDREN who were KILLED by ASSAULT WEAPONS in the UVALDE elementary school MASSACRE, are SUING the makers of call of duty, because the ASSAULT WEAPONS that are used in that game contributed to the MASSACRE.

Like I said before, the 2nd amendment DOES NOT protect your right to own MILITARY-STYLE ASSAULT WEAPONS like the AR-15. Theses are OVERPOWERED MILITARY WEAPONS that DO NOT BELONG in the hands of CIVILIANS.

Fuck me...

Apparently the "theory" is that CG generated weapons "contributed" to the killing.

Yeah, this suits going nowhere.

Now, what I'd like to see are the civil rights/private orgs who are soliciting the victims/survivors to sue, and then suffer no financial loss after the cases are dismissed or lost, being required to PAY FOR EVERYTHING themselves for these meritless lawsuits instead of leaving the grieving families they suckered to pay the thousands of dollars in legal bills out of their own pockets.

This might be the problem:

😳

It isn’t like the parents have no case at all.

IF there had been NO clandestine proactive / calculated strategy from gun manufacturers to entice young people into becoming ammosexuals by partnering with video game producers to advertise their dangerous “real-life” product / activity , then I wouldn’t see any problem.

We shall see…

Suing firearms manufacturers for damages sustained in gun crimes has already been tried -- it never flies. Coupling it to games probably won't help.

Money, money, money, we want more money!!! (Most of which would go to the lawyers. )
