What does it mean when there is no moderator named at the top of a forum?

Some forums have moderators listed at the top. Some don't. Are the ones that don't just moderated by the admins, Laurel and Manu?

Some forums have moderators listed at the top. Some don't. Are the ones that don't just moderated by the admins, Laurel and Manu?

It means there's no moderator assigned to that forum, so any housekeeping would be done by the site (Laurel and Manu).

As a example, the AH used to be unmoderated, until a cabal of writers chose not to self-moderate and the forum went toxic for a while. That's when the AHMod came in. I have no idea if it's the same mod these days.
