Feedback on new policy announcement.

Hey, quick question: When exactly did these new rules go into effect, that you are now accusing her of breaking them by posting what the CURRENT rules define as a soft-nude illustration? According to the Announcement you shared, they "plan to expand the policy to the Literotica Forums". Like... in the future.
Right now, unless there has been a change nobody informed us about, soft-nudes and non-photographs should be fine... right?
All of my FORUM pics were removed. None were nudes. Terribly sad.

I'm dumbing it down..so if we use an outside whatever like imgbb and link it's cool.. that's why they took the attach photo option away.. right?
They haven't taken that option away as far as I can see...

And no one yet knows if links will be allowed or not

They have for many posters. At some (undefined) point, Admin gets tired of deleting pictures or posts by a member and they remove that member's ability to attach pictures.
Well . they took it away from me... probably cuz of overuse
. grr..any8ty for replying

I am absolutely confused.
All my pictures were deleted. None contained any nudity, in fact they were tame. Lingerie shots at worst.
Yet we can go on many Lit threads (I just checked) and see explicit nudity including sex acts, obviously copied from other sites.
Were all your pics in FORUM deleted also?

They said they were going to go through and delete..idk.. sorry

For the folks experiencing all of their images being deleted, this is not being done by a forum moderator. We do not have the access to do that. It would take a very long time going through all of the posts to just remove the images. We would literally have to remove them one post at a time. This was done by the site administration and we don’t have any insight into that. I expect that the images were found to be violating forum rules and were attached/uploaded to the lit server. And when they do this, they typically remove the ability for that user to attach any additional images to their posts.

I routinely scan threads and check logs. I often see where Admin has edited a post, deleted an image or taken other actions. These are instances where there was no report made. I've also seen entire pages of images vanish that I didn't edit.

They seem to be quite serious about this and I know it's been in the works for several months.
So are they implementing the new rules now, or still on the old ones?

@Manu
@Laurel

Please let us know if we can still post links to images hosted elsewhere under the new rules.
Ones that require a click to view and don't auto display.

I need to know if I have to take down my AmPhoto pics entirely or replace them with links to offsite pics.

This is the only safe and welcoming community I have found. Sharing pics has been so healing for anxiety and body image issues. Please do not take that away from those of us who aren't putting any pics in places they're not allowed.

Once again, the best thing in all this mess is the amazing flow of information that comes from the website administration.
Dozens of members are clueless as to what is happening and what exactly the limits of the new rules are. But yeah, let's reiterate that this was done because Laurel and Manu had read numerous user feedback.

Is it the fact that a pic comes up automatically, like when I copy a photo from my laptop and paste it into the FORUM?
I don't understand why that is any different from posting a link to another site (which I think is much worse).
Today I am still seeing very pornographic sex acts being posted on Lit, whereas my rather tame non-nudes have been deleted in their entirety.
It hurts.
