I get that. I was on a classics kick (Wilson's translations of The Iliad and The Odyssey) and I am now reading something popular but so stupid, I'm not sure if I want to push on or not. At this point, the stupidity is sort of the attraction....

Yeah, I was that with The Dark Tower. Other than the opening line, I wasn't crazy about the first book, but I was glad in the end that I finished the series. It had issues, but for once, King absolutely nailed the final ending.
