Why can't he just take credit for his predecessor's banging economy and go play golf somewhere? Do what elderly people do and just be quiet. But no, he just has to mess things up like he did with his casinos and hotels. Dude, this cannot go on for the next four years.

The strange thing is that in his first term, Trump never seemed to like being president. He was never happy in it. And Donald Trump has never in his life done anything for the sake of civic or social duty, only for his own benefit or amusement. So why did he want to be president again?
DonOld didn’t just “fuck with the Chinese government”.
DonOld fucked with the EU and everybody else - which played right into China’s hands.
By fucking with everybody else, DonOld gave China (and others) an incredible amount of leverage (and opportunities to undercut the U.S.). Dumb. SO dumb.

For how crazy the last 4 months have been, little has actually changed except the perception of the US.
- Israel and Ukraine negotiations have gone absolutely nowhere
- DOGE did close to nothing, saved mayve a few billion at best.
- Trade war and firing Powell are bluffs and backfiring, and backtracking is the name of the game
- Tariffs are causing thousands of job losses and about to inflict thousands more as well as having lost us billions in exports with no gains to offset those
- No Tax bill, the FBI is the same, the DOJ is the same....
- Deportations of a few illegals is all bark and very little bite - and quite a few foreign tourists arrested and deported, killing tourism
But now everyone hates us

It's a shame no one warned us this would happen.
The concept of it being impossible for a President to be a felon did not exist before Trump. He himself campaigned on Hillary being sent to prison, and being the first President in prison.
Suddenly we had judges like Engoron ripping up their own caseload in a rush to avoid Trump facing the consequences of his own actions. It became constitutionally impossible, just because it had never been done before. There are lots of things that have been done, but had never been done before that first time. Literally everything.
One day Engoron will write his memoirs and tell us who told him to abrogate on his responsibility to impose a proper punishment on the felon before him.

Trump's latest little rant n Canada. He really is an economic illiterate. What he is calling "Support" is actually called 'trade'. It's how importing and exporting works. No-one has any idea where he has pulled this 200 billion fromexcept maybe from out of his ass. Aside from oil, which Canada sells us cheaper than we'd get it anywhere else, Canada is a net importer from the USA.
"I put tariffs on Canada, they’re paying 25%" Trump is totally delusional. Somebody needs to sit him down and explain how tariffs work. If USA puts on a 25% tariff. Canada does not pay it. The US consumer does. And Canada imposes a cuntervailing tariff.
Car manufacturng is split across both sides of the border and if you look at finished product, USA takes 1.5 million vehicles from Canada and Canada takes 1.6 million from USA. Canada will end up manufacturing vehicles for themselves and not importig from the USA at all. All this is more of a lesson to diversify themselves away from reliance on the USA as a trading partner (and a strategic ally) for Canada.
And just yesterday Bessent was up in front of everyone calling for deeper collaboration and mutual respect. Sorry Bessent, before that happens someone is going to gave to duct tape Trump's mouth and take the pen away and we know that ain't happening. Maybe resign now and avoid being the one to take the fall for the Second Great Depression.
