The present constitutional crisis was always waiting to happen

Sooner or later, an administration was going to decide they just don't care about the rule of law, don't care what the courts decide, and push the boundaries to see what they could get away with.

No way the FFs could have prevented this by institutional design -- nothing they could have done if they had thought of the danger. The executive has always had the potential to defy the courts -- up to now, the system depended on their not daring to. Not even FDR dared.

That's why Donald Trump needs to be slapped down hard, along with all of his co-conspirators. Make would-be totalitarians terrified to ever show their faces again.

What do you think should be done when a President violates the law?
The usual answer is impeachment -- a process that does not involve the courts.

N.B.: That a sitting president cannot be indicted was only the opinion of one lawyer in the Nixon Administration -- it has never been tested in the courts.

I'm asking @Saint_Ann what she thinks. I'm on a quest to find a single topic that she's willing to talk about. I think she's ashamed to say what she believes. That's why she hides behind snark.

Would you support the House of Representatives bringing impeachment articles again President Trump?
How can anything I do support an impeachment procedure? I couldn't even name the last president that Congress didn't try to impeach. :)

You could call your representative and demand they impeach Donald Trump. Giving up without a fight is weak.

The President refusing to follow a 9-0 ruling by the Supreme Court is a Constitutional crisis. Immediate impeachment and removal from office is called for.
Not following the issue or the details. Are you worried the country is in jeopardy? :)

So the minute you take power you are going to break the law. That's how it works. :)
The law allows the government to tell you who they are deporting and they mist believe you.....that's the 47 way

And when the courts tell you that you can't do it...you can just ignore them.

They like it when you grab them by the pussy
