Glaswegian indie/post-punk band Uninvited mix power guitars with flawless harmonies.

I love this part leading into the bridge:

Supremely talented, queer, and a hell of a lot of fun, I have high hopes that they catch on.

Margaret Hoolihan was an inspirational character to me. The actress showed her sensuality and sexuality at a time when it was considered whorish. She navigated sexism using charm, ferocity, and intellect, she had an inner strength that I covet. She moved through her life in a chaotic M.A.S.H. with dignity despite the antics around her. She knew who she was and what she wanted, and she was forced to work within a system that could not see her value until she forced it into view. So in honour of her absolutely terrible singing voice and unashamedly singing anyway..

Seven decades of music by and for non racist traditional skinheads, brings us to the 2020s and arguably my current favorite punk band, street punk band, Oi! band and my favorite skinhead band. There is a lot to choose from, as Oi! Is making a comeback. The 45 Adaptors and Hub Cuty Stompers are still throwing it out here in dirty jersey. Tear Up, Heavy Discipline and a great Irish skinhead band called An Slua are ripping it up in bars and taverns all over the US, Europe and Asia.
But none are as good as The Chisel.
These guys have to throwback look and sound, yet somehow also updated.
They make me wanna throw beers, overturn tables, and jump into the circle pit. Haven’t seen them yet, they canceled the last half of their US tour last year. They have so many good songs that I couldn’t settle on one.

I've been listening to this singer a lot lately. I love her voice and her style. It was a tough call between this and another song of hers but ultimately the dancer's performance tipped the scales plus I used to write Free Dom all over my notebooks in elementary and middle school.
