Somehow people have forgotten something; these two were sentenced to prison for "life without the possibility of parole" for murdering both of their parents in cold blood.

Now, they're getting a re-sentencing hearing which could potentially negate their first sentence (which was upheld and deemed an appropriate punishment for the crimes they committed under both facts and law). In essence, they're now asking for the court to give them parole.

All I can say is WTF? Has everyone gotten so fucking stupid that they don't understand basic things?

No. I want them to serve the punishment they were sentenced to without some "future court" coming along and "re deciding" that punishment merely because some family members are missing them at Thanksgiving.

They were tried, found guilty, and sentenced. The appeals court UPHELD that verdict and sentencing. Now some people want a second bite at the apple merely "because."
