You won’t like this….just sayin’

I never said I was Independent, former Democrat turned Conservative.

I've seen most of it, I have eyes and I pay attention to issues that matters to me.

You can't refute anything I said, because they're all true. You just hate Trump and anything Conservative, nothing in the universe can be done to sway your mind.

You should’ve taken me giving you credit as an independent. I think less of you now. You were never a Democrat. Good people of conscience do not all of a sudden say - yeah, you know what? I wanna be on the side of taking away women’s rights and less pay for the American worker. Fuck you! Nothing to refute because you’re a stupid motherfucker. The racism m, the hate and the misogyny appealed to you. I don’t get into conversations about policies with people like that. Fuck you a third time for good measure!

Nah, like Bnf2 posted, you're a dyed in the wool Trumper. He spoke to what you wanted to hear. Enjoy what you voted for....

No one cares what you think.

Playing the high moral ground, while your party celebrates low or no morality.

Baseless attacks, because you're not smart enough to defend your arguments lmao.

The Party of the KKK is the Democratic Party, check your history.

Sir, you voted for a rapist.

Although I would love to argue with you, I actually have things to do this Saturday. I’ll let you have the last word. I’m off to teach chair yoga at IKEA.

Soooo…..

It’s been 3 days and Armageddon hasn’t hit us yet. My guess it’s going to be postponed.

What has happened is that India, Israel, South Korea, Japan, vietnam, The EU, Canada, U.K., Argentina, Thailand, Australia, and a few others have come to the table. They’re now discussing working out a deal to prevent the tariffs from impacting them. I expect a lot more of this to come from those countries on the list.

The end of the world might not be as close as we think.

I'd really like to see where anyone has come to the table? Canada has already stated their terms ( Back on March 2nd). Drop the tariffs before any negotiations. When you do drop yours, we'll drop ours. There are no current trade negotiations, we are in an election.

So you got Canada wrong, I'd like to see proof of any other countries on your list that are "negotiating".

I guess it’s a thing around here that if you don’t agree with everything a person says, you’re a Trumper. I know, it’s kind of weird but it seems to be a thing. They don’t believe that people can be in the middle….even though most of the country is well…in the middle. It’s an odd dynamic to say the least

This will all end with no tariffs on either side which is kind of “Actual free trade”. More of this to come from other countries too

You do understand a Preimer is the equivelent of a Governor, right? They can say all the they want, but they are not the Federal government.

With Canada that is Carney (currently) and Trump for the US.

So go get some proof for your earlier claims.

This whole conversation has been you arguing, without bringing any facts to support your argument.

Prove it in Criminal Court.
Innocent till prove guilty.

In case you are going to argue the civil court decisions against Trump, the burden of proof is far below, the amount of proof needed in a criminal court.

Is Trump the greatest person in the universe?

No, but I truly believe he means well and is enacting policies that I agree with.

So go get some proof
  • Japan: Japan has expressed intent to seek negotiations with the U.S., with Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba considering economic stimulus to offset potential damage, avoiding immediate retaliation. The Japanese Trade Minister, Yoji Muto, called the tariffs “extremely regrettable” and indicated Tokyo would urge exemption from the measures.
  • South Korea: Acting President Han Duck-soo ordered emergency support measures and urged the Ministry of Trade to actively negotiate with Washington to minimize the impact of the 25% tariff on South Korean products, signaling a willingness to discuss adjustments.
  • India: India has been proactive, with negotiations hinted at prior to and following the tariff announcement. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s earlier meeting with Trump, India signaled openness to lowering tariffs on 55% of its imports from the U.S., contingent on relief from reciprocal tariffs, suggesting ongoing dialogue.
  • Vietnam: Posts on X and some reports indicate Vietnam is among the countries seeking to negotiate, though specific official statements are less detailed in the web sources. Its significant trade surplus with the U.S. (facing a 46% tariff) likely motivates this outreach.
  • United Kingdom: The UK, facing a 10% tariff, has been cited in X posts as willing to negotiate, with Downing Street reportedly relieved at avoiding a higher rate and expressing readiness to engage further.
  • Australia: Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese indicated a preference for negotiation over retaliation, seeking to remove the 10% baseline tariff without resorting to counter-levies, as confirmed by both web reports and X sentiment.
  • European Union: The EU, hit with a 20% reciprocal tariff, is preparing countermeasures but has emphasized negotiation as a priority. EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic planned talks with U.S. counterparts on April 4, 2025, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stressed readiness to negotiate a fair deal before escalating further.
  • Canada: While Canada initially responded to earlier 25% tariffs (imposed in February 2025) with retaliatory measures, recent indications, including posts on X, suggest it may be open to ending tariffs entirely and negotiating, though official statements focus more on challenging the tariffs via trade agreements.
  • Mexico: Mexico has been involved in ongoing discussions since earlier tariff actions in February 2025. While President Claudia Sheinbaum vowed retaliation, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s comments about continued talks “all day” with Mexico imply negotiation efforts persist, with some exemptions already secured.
  • Israel: X posts claim Israel has canceled its tariffs on the U.S. and is negotiating, but this lacks robust confirmation from web sources, making it less certain compared to others.
  • Argentina: Mentioned in X posts as seeking negotiations, though specific actions are not well-documented in the provided web results.
  • Thailand: Noted in some X posts as likely to negotiate soon, but lacking detailed official confirmation in the web data.

Nowhere in that list, is anyone sitting down and talking or negotiating currently with the US. Saying you're willing to sit down, doesn't mean you're at the table.
Show me a meeting between Navarro and anyone.

Yes, they could for the most part. I'm sure there are things they didn't like from Trumps platform, but it was closer to sane from the choices they had.

Yeah… Trump and his policies were “closer to sane” IF one finds rape (sexual assault / abuse), racism, fascism, misogyny, bigotry, grift,, treason AND INSANITY “sane”.

First off, they didn't even elect VP Harris, they just threw her up there and tried to force her down people's throats. Talk about threat to Democracy, there was no Democracy when they just made her the Democratic Candidate, without being voted in.

Under the circumstances, Kamala was voted in BY THE BOOK. And there was NO ONE who came close to beating Kamala when the decision was put to the committee or the public. Kamala was the Vice President, so it was perfectly legitimate to have her take the torch and carry the banner.

People born as Biological men, competing against women, even in boxing.

Wrong. That ^ was NOT part of the Democratic Platform. President Biden did NOT include trans athletes in his Title IX policy.

The illegal immigration was out of control and gangs were taking control of certain areas in the country. Some were committing rapes and breaking a lot of our laws. An illegal immigrant burned a woman alive, lightning her on fire, that's crazy as fuck.

President Biden tried to pass immigration reform and border security legislation from his first day in office - AND DONOLD & REPUBLICANS SABOTAGED A VERY CONSERVATIVE IMMIGRATION & BORDER SECURITY BILL.

Teaching young children about sex and pushing an LGBT agenda, some parents don't agree with it. So when parents spoke up, they didn't care and did what they wanted anyway.

That ^ was NOT part of President Biden’s platform. Also: Education is a good thing, and NO ONE is “pushing an LGBT agenda”. Acknowledging differences and celebrating the diversity that DOES exist in society is NOT a “bad thing” - unless you’re a racist or a bigot
.
The crazy amount of money and food stamp benefits given to illegal immigrants and putting them up in fancy hotels. It was a slap to the face of the poor, the homeless and veterans.

The situation you described resulted from REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS in states that receive EXTRA FEDERAL MONEY FOR IMMIGRATION AND BORDER SECURITY launching an uncoordinated (and illegal) mass transport of undocumented migrants to states that were unprepared and underfunded to receive them.

Plus under Biden, it seemed very possible of a WW3 breaking out, due to policies.

America has ALWAYS stood in the breach when tyranny threatened. President Biden’s support of Ukraine, defense of Israel, partnership with Taiwan, and strengthening of alliances was a masterclass on foreign policy and national security policy.
Also: When DonOld assassinated Iran’s national hero, moved the American embassy to Jerusalem, excluded the "Palestinians" from the Abraham Accords, appeased the Taliban, appeased Putin, appeased Kim, openly admired Xi, etc, etc, etc, the likelihood of “WW3 breaking out” went up exponentially. Weakness and recklessness leads to war.

Abortion I say will always hurt Republicans, it's very controversial, so I can't add that.

Yeah. You won’t talk about that ^ because the overturning of Roe is / was ONE of the radical (NOT sane) things that ACTUALLY happened as a result of DonOld’s policies and SCOTUS picks.

😳 😑. 🤬

Ultimately:

You’re full of shit. And I haven’t even touched on the maaaaaany NOT sane things (HATE & LIES) DonOld campaigned on that people on “the’left” (and right and center) who voted for DonOld COULD apparently “relate to”…

😑

Let’s say for the sake of argument that’s how it will end tariff-wise. Ok, business as usual, sort of. You don’t think other countries are going to be very calculating and cautious in how they do trade with us?

The damage trump has caused to the US’s reputation will remain for decades if not permanently. Because of trump the US has squandered its standing in the world and is no longer trustworthy. In mere months he has destroyed what took decades to build. He’s trying to run the country like he runs his business and remember, he declared bankruptcy something like six times. He is strictly transactional and that’s a weakness and a blind spot for a president.

Also, it’s helpful to post a link to your information source so readers can check the validity of the source.

I saw an expert (on PBS Newshour, I believe) who explained it quite clearly: He basically said the global economy (those who still want to participate in it) was going to “re-wire” trade / supply chains AROUND the US.

That ^ CANNOT be good for the US economy. (It won’t be good for the global economy either, but it is what it is.)

We. Told. Them. So.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

This too will pass.

I never use the words 'conservative' and 'liberal' except to use a shared language. They are no longer words that communicate information. Rather they are propaganda terms used to evoke emotion.

For 'conservative' I prefer to use 'authoritarians and barbarians masquerading as conservatives to hide their motives, goals, and actions'. For 'liberals' I use 'humanist'.

Typical liberal, redefining words to suit their personal agenda and thinking the rest of the world agrees with them.

Very weird, anyone who defends one side no matter what they do and attacks another side no matter what they do, must have mental issues. If their party keeps thinking this way, they will lose more elections. I would personally love it if Democrats pushed policies that benefits the majority of the country.

if Democrats pushed policies that benefits the majority of the country.

🙄

They (Democrats) HAVE “pushed policies that “benefits” the majority of the country”, so…

😑

Your previous posts demonstrated that you have zero clue what the Democratic Party’s platform was / is, and you obviously have zero clue about what President Biden did to “benefits” the majority of the country” during his term.
