Books are almost always far better than movies. Unfortunately my kids are all teenagers now and my house is never quiet. I cant focus on reading if there's noise.

I read before bed. I assume you arent having sex every single night with the wife, so get a kindle and read for 10, 20 min before bed!

Lol! Good one!! Sadly, you are correct. That's actually when I read erotic stories. Bad timing, I know. I'd love to sit down and read a book but usually if my face is in a book, it's a programming book.

so Kit... any guesses on when one of our teams is going to lose a game? This is crazy.... I came here thinking about trying to get you to bet with me about a full reveal shot of something you've never shown here, at least as far as I know...figured I could turn a lot of dudes into instant, albeit temporary, Padre fans if that was on the table. But the lack of enthusiasm for my corresponding "revelation" could be a little discouraging, even though I would understand. Seriously, whichever team loses first, the other team is going to set a record for consecutive games won and only being in first by one game, and the team that loses is going to set a record for most games won in a row and still being in second place. Both of our teams are on incredible hot streaks to start a season and it's not like we're doing it against the Rockies or the A's... Atlanta is going to be in the hunt at the end of the season and so are the Tigers and Guardians.

But hey, we can console ourselves by knowing we BOTH root for the Lakers, right?

And , to echo the rest of the crowd, there may be a possibility of a picture being a "blah" shot of you compared to other pictures of you, but there is zero possibility of a picture of you being "blah" compared to pictures of anybody else. I'll also cop to the fact that even though I am usually pretty detail oriented, I was so distracted by other aspects of your recent video that I completely missed that it was the same shirt.

i started a movie during lunch here. i try to take 45 min or so for lunch and bang through a show on apple tv/netflix/hbo whatever, but i like some sci-fi dystopian cyberpunk whatever types of stuff, usually they are dumb and therefore i can also multitask if needbe...ANYWAY...fucking hell kit ramble much? i started this German movie "paradise", which is about how you can sell a year of your life for cash right? and if there is a dna match, another person buys that year to get younger...wipe away wrinkles/diseases/etc
some people, like poor people, then can sell 5, 10 years and therefore get out of the slums.
the other catch is, its not liek...you are 25 and you sell 10 years which means instead of dying at 92, you die at 82, its...you are 25 and now you are 35. so you get older.
and one little tidbit they threw in is that criminals can sell x yers to shave their prison sentence down. interesting.
anyway, yeah...it started off kind of interesting, im about 65% through it, and it just kind of sucks ass now.

I do this a lot. I have to do it in the first few minutes though because if I’ve invested 5 minutes I’m all in, even if it’s catastrophically abysmal… I always anticipate it turning a corner.

I went on a date recently and we ended up in the cinema, she chose wicked. We left after a minute. Partially because of the urge to get somewhere more private, but mostly because the movie was fucking dreadful. Yes, even though I only saw 60 seconds of it, I stand by my critique of the film.

I thought we were going to lose last night, and I think the Dodgers will lose in the next couple of games...at the Phillies wont be easy. Pads have it a notch easier with the Cubs but they are certainly no slouch by any stretch. Its been nuts to watch for sure.

Glad we both are Lakers fans.

So I am not into musicals and rarely see them, good for one every few years.
Chicago was great.
La La Land was great.
Beauty and the Beast was good.
Barbie was super fun.
