I found out yesterday I need to have a "Real ID" thing... which sounds really, really, jacked up to me. Something feels really fishy there.
They started the real ID's for drivers licenses a couple of years ago. You need extra documentation to get one but if makes it valid identification for flying and most other things
If you figure it out, you should start charging for the knowledge.... I'm sure a lot of spankos would love to know how to do that!
Yeah, that's what I found out. What really sucks is, I had all the documentation they wanted with me except one thing I hadn't brought (but had at home). None of the references I used (from the DMV's website) said anything about needing that last thing, or about tying my name change to the real id thing.

And when I mentioned I was thinking I need a purple streak, she said no. I truly think she wouldn't do that for me because she says it is wrong for my hair color.
