The dryer has pooped out. Not sure if it's electrical or the machine. I think it's electrical, but I can't be arsed to fix it today. So, wet clothes to the laundromat, $1.25 and 20-odd minutes later, and dry clothes at home.

So today did not disappoint. Between this morning's post and now, we had a training session for a new thing we're doing at work, and every time I asked the person a question someone on my team would answer it. And preface it was saying what K means is.. I don't need you to interpret for me I speak English and so do they. So annoying. Then, long story short, at our Festival last year we had a vendor who was asking minors if they had their periods yet, if they were sexually active, told him they were going to hell, Etc. I didn't find out about it until after the festival was over. When I did find out about it, I banned him, removed him from invites anything. He is not allowed to come back. Well last week we get an application and a check from him using last year's application he just copied and filled it in. So I sent a response letter to him that unfortunately we weren't able to extend an invitation because we had some complaints about his booth. Well he called me today because he had my phone number from last year's information. He asked me if I was Christian and threatening manner he said he had people that he could bring in to deal with this where he was. He wanted specific examples, and I just wasn't comfortable with that especially after the whole I have people comment. So I referred him to the Village offices. And he can talk to the mayor who is the boss of all of this. It was awful. I told him I wasn't going to get into particulars with him and he needed to call the village office and left it at that.. I don't want to get the village in trouble I will let the mayor take care of it. The guy just needs to go away. The mayor is not one to be messed with. I did manage to make my bed and I'm going to go mop my floors here in a minute to make me feel like I have some control over my life. Hahaha oh Lord

Tried to sleep Saturday afternoon but the kitty, doggy, kiddy and wifey kept traipsing thru the room asking questions. It wasn't until I didn't cook dinner that it ambled thru their minds that I needed a clomp thru dream land. I slept until 0200, got up hobbled thru a shower and went to work.

Well home after a busy weekend. Saturday I was in Birmingham for a conference with 4.5 hours driving each way so up at 3.00 am and home @ 9.00pm. Fortunately my pal drove but the sodding clocks went forward an hour!

Today I was up at 05.30 to drive 6 honours to see my mum on Mother’s Day. Well worth it and we even walked to the local art gallery .. about a mile despite her stroke in December…. Incredible woman!

Location, location, location... need to keep tomatoes and nightshades well away from the pasture poodles!! Both greens and fruit of the tomato plant contain solanine which can be deadly for horses

Good news is that tomatoes don’t need that much room. Some people grow em in five gallon buckets (recommend to use food grade buckets). But you can put em right in the ground, or in raised beds.

They like it dry.

Keep 'em dry and away from things like deer or frost and they don't tend to complain much

Maybe I'm weird. I've always enjoyed the foods that a lot of people don't like.
The wife hates a lot of the food I would choose to eat. Some stuff like sauerkraut makes me feel better when I eat it...

I'm envious. Not of the sauerkraut But fermented foods in general. Whatever is going on with my gut biome, it takes serious offense to most fermented foods. So unfair!
