I've been thinking of having my truck retrofitted to add nav. There is a backup camera in the rear view mirror; I'd rather have it displayed on a larger screen like in my car.

Hmm, I like salads and greens though - may need to give those a try.

I'm the same. The only beets I knew growing up came in a can. They are vile!

Just my thoughts about our rules on religion and politics:
Criminals hiding behind a “religion or creed” are fair game. Being spiritual like Zen or praising God, is OK as it’s not about advocating one’s religion or faith nor disparaging another’s. Correct me if you disagree or I am wrong.

It’s probably going to be less expensive to retro fit than to buy even a newer used truck with those features. Prices of used cars are going up and not down as they used to.

Damn. Long day.

Firewood this morning and around noon Mrs wonderer and I turned our attention to the garden.

Took down a fence, weeded, cleaned up the beds. Then put down compost and prepped the beds. Planted five diff variety of beets.

Got my pumpkins started and growing indoors under grow lights.

Made dinner.

True to form, every team we like has lost in basketball since Thursday!

Everyone in my family has guns except for me. They all went shooting one afternoon. I was relegated to child minder as they were too young to be at the range. While I might have wanted to go shooting, I don't know how. I also wanted to check on my dog.

The kids and I took the dog and went for a walk to the park. I still had a lot of fun with them.

One of my friends was part of the shooting party. She's coming here next month. I might ask her to go gun shopping with me.

You might want to go to an indoor range and try out some of their stuff first. And ask friends who have stuff.


Whatever you do, always keep it/them pointed in a safe direction.

Ouch.

Beet greens can be a bit bitter. But we use em in salads. Supposedly they have lotsa benefits, vitamin c and k. And also (miss) potassium, iron and calcium!

Our state does, as well. Our sales tax and property taxes are high.

Jeez, NJ has the trifecta.

High sales tax
High income taxes and
High property taxes

However, even with the new gas tax a few years ago, we have cheap gas and are the only state left where you don’t have to pump your own.
