The week was easy sauce. Great company too.

Currently, I'm in the emergency room here at 0230 after driving my mom here. She had shooting pains in her arms and chest and I gave her a nitro pill before getting her here. She's doing fine and her vitals are normal for her. EKG has been done and me and her are just sitting here waiting on someone to read blood work and test results.

Sorry to hear, bud. Hope it is nothing serious and you’re both home back in bed by now.

I hope she's OK. You did the right thing. Next time, tho, if you think it's cardiac or stroke related, call 911. The EMTs and paramedics have all kinds of wonder stuff in their rig. Also, the patient gets taken straight to the back. No need to stop at registration and triage.

Can't. They are directed to take her to Booneville hospital because we live in the sticks. I outed us because you can look that hospital up yourself to see what a waste of concrete those doctors are. It's where you go when you averaged a 2.9 in med school. We've all heard of these hospitals.

So I drove her myself. She would never let me or anyone else take her Booneville.

They brought her BP down with an IV. We are still waiting to see what the doc says about her tests. She's in good spirits tho.

Positive: had a forestry inspection today and passed with flying colors.

Negative: when we went to the basement this morning, there was water all over the floor. While we are away, I think our water heater went bad. I did notice a couple of weird noises last night when the furnace kicked on. It all runs off the same system and sure enough, the water heater went bad.

Hopefully fixed early next week.

Water in the basement is a royal PITA. I had issues in our house in PA. The worst I have seen was my brother. He opened the door to go down and was greeted by his ping pong table floating in the water. When the fire company pumped it out, and they pumped it out "slow" , one wall collapsed.

So today did not disappoint. Between this morning's post and now, we had a training session for a new thing we're doing at work, and every time I asked the person a question someone on my team would answer it. And preface it was saying what K means is.. I don't need you to interpret for me I speak English and so do they. So annoying. Then, long story short, at our Festival last year we had a vendor who was asking minors if they had their periods yet, if they were sexually active, told him they were going to hell, Etc. I didn't find out about it until after the festival was over. When I did find out about it, I banned him, removed him from invites anything. He is not allowed to come back. Well last week we get an application and a check from him using last year's application he just copied and filled it in. So I sent a response letter to him that unfortunately we weren't able to extend an invitation because we had some complaints about his booth. Well he called me today because he had my phone number from last year's information. He asked me if I was Christian and threatening manner he said he had people that he could bring in to deal with this where he was. He wanted specific examples, and I just wasn't comfortable with that especially after the whole I have people comment. So I referred him to the Village offices. And he can talk to the mayor who is the boss of all of this. It was awful. I told him I wasn't going to get into particulars with him and he needed to call the village office and left it at that.. I don't want to get the village in trouble I will let the mayor take care of it. The guy just needs to go away. The mayor is not one to be messed with. I did manage to make my bed and I'm going to go mop my floors here in a minute to make me feel like I have some control over my life. Hahaha oh Lord

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!!! I have never understood the level of st000pid that comes with some of these proselytizing asshats and their scumbaggery in general. I got some Hell for them, and it's gonna be right here and right now. Wat has the interesting ability to take "their" book and beat them about the head and shoulders with it such that thier jaws drop to whatever floor they find themselves standing on.


Funny thing is, the so-called atheists who are really anti-theists are just as bad for all of the same reasons.

It’s for our farm. It shows that we have woods and “farm” it for firewood so that we get a farm tax exemption.

It has all of the details minimum amounts we need to sell for firewood. And how and what invasive trees we need to get rid of and what to plant in their place.

The forrester is a character. Vietnam vet, old hippie. Has the perfect Nj accent. Nicest guy. EVERY TIME I see him, he thinks I was in Vietnam too (do I look THAT old??) I remind him that it was sometime after that! I was born during the Vietnam war!

I have used the Vietnam schtick on kids at work. Three tours worth. They don't know when 'Nam was or anything much at all about it, so I make up a bunch of shit and thoroughly enjoy myself for how far and how much wool I pull over their eyes.

That's about right, really. TDK meets me at the door. Ethyl was in bed, looking at me, "what?" Geezer was old. Panther was on the foot of the bed and was a good boy as always. Geezer shed a bunch of hair this week.


I may go look at a very fuel efficient car this morning.

Try not to stress about the weight gain. Your body wants to hold onto it, so it retains water as you're losing fat. The water will go in a day or two and you'll drop the weight. Try concentrating on your measurements or how your clothes are fitting. That's a better measure of your progress, sometimes, than the scale.
