Try not to stress about the weight gain. Your body wants to hold onto it, so it retains water as you're losing fat. The water will go in a day or two and you'll drop the weight. Try concentrating on your measurements or how your clothes are fitting. That's a better measure of your progress, sometimes, than the scale. 🫂💞🫂

Between this morning's post and now, we had a training session for a new thing we're doing at work, and every time I asked the person a question someone on my team would answer it. And preface it was saying what K means is.. I don't need you to interpret for me I speak English and so do they. So annoying. Then, long story short, at our Festival last year we had a vendor who was asking minors if they had their periods yet, if they were sexually active, told him they were going to hell, Etc. I didn't find out about it until after the festival was over. When I did find out about it, I banned him, removed him from invites anything. He is not allowed to come back. Well last week we get an application and a check from him using last year's application he just copied and filled it in. So I sent a response letter to him that unfortunately we weren't able to extend an invitation because we had some complaints about his booth. Well he called me today because he had my phone number from last year's information. He asked me if I was Christian and threatening manner he said he had people that he could bring in to deal with this where he was. He wanted specific examples, and I just wasn't comfortable with that especially after the whole I have people comment. So I referred him to the Village offices. And he can talk to the mayor who is the boss of all of this. It was awful. I told him I wasn't going to get into particulars with him and he needed to call the village office and left it at that.. I don't want to get the village in trouble I will let the mayor take care of it. The guy just needs to go away. The mayor is not one to be messed with. I did manage to make my bed and I'm going to go mop my floors here in a minute to make me feel like I have some control over my life. Hahaha oh Lord

Negative: when we went to the basement this morning, there was water all over the floor. While we are away, I think our water heater went bad. I did notice a couple of weird noises last night when the furnace kicked on. It all runs off the same system and sure enough, the water heater went bad.

Hopefully fixed early next week.

Currently, I'm in the emergency room here at 0230 after driving my mom here. She had shooting pains in her arms and chest and I gave her a nitro pill before getting her here. She's doing fine and her vitals are normal for her. EKG has been done and me and her are just sitting here waiting on someone to read blood work and test results.

I hope she's OK. You did the right thing. Next time, tho, if you think it's cardiac or stroke related, call 911. The EMTs and paramedics have all kinds of wonder stuff in their rig. Also, the patient gets taken straight to the back. No need to stop at registration and triage. 🫂🫂
 
FINALLY!! I've caught up! Sounds like everyone has had an interesting week. I have loads to do this weekend. Feels like work. 🙄😤
