Back from vacation and already throwing all sorts of shade I see how it is

And morning everyone. Training has been all classroom this week which is rough for me. I learn best with a mix of class and hands-on so the last couple days burnt my brain. The good news is I get my truck this weekend and next week is supposed to be much more outside doing things with classes in between. We'll see.

Up. On cup #1 and ready for #2. Slept okay, likely from exhaustion. After yesterday's fiasco, we decided to make today a Regroup Day. reschedule to push work, finish our dumb shit leftovers, and get out of there a bit early. It's the only thing that makes sense.

I lose my other super and get some other guy come Monday. Seems his rep is that he has a hard time following Simple Instructions. I have never cared if they have a better way of doing things - but it has to be better. Different means you can't follow directions. We'll see.

I listened to Dr. Berry on youtube and did carnivore last year. He has a crapload of content on it. Also Candi Frazier has a ton on it. It worked great for both of us. You have to listen to the part about swapping what your body is using for fuel right now and change that fuel source. When you get that done, your well over half way there. Go take a listen.

Well I thought was just after a shower.... my hwh is all the way up and my showers are not hot. So investigated that think cartridge where hot cold water mix is bad...that can cause water hammer. Heard the bang and water noise this am after no water run.... so not sure about that.... my water pressure is great so don't think a leak. Also didn't realize that hose was still attached last fall so worried about outside spigot.... could be anything

Water hammer is when water is moving through a pipe and suddenly stop. That energy needs go somewhere, and it makes a "Bang!" noise if it doesn't have any where to go. So, when you hear it, is it just once in a while, or constantly banging? (Like when you're in the shower)

I think a mixing valve switching back and forth (oscillating) could do this kind of stuff. So, I think you're onto something there. Probably best to get a plumber in there, as they probably know how the valve would react if it was clogging up or sticking.

Pressure regulators can stick and do weird things like make noise and stuff too. Again, a good mom and pop plumber (with real honest to goodness plumbers crack) sounds like the thing you need.

So today did not disappoint. Between this morning's post and now, we had a training session for a new thing we're doing at work, and every time I asked the person a question someone on my team would answer it. And preface it was saying what K means is.. I don't need you to interpret for me I speak English and so do they. So annoying. Then, long story short, at our Festival last year we had a vendor who was asking minors if they had their periods yet, if they were sexually active, told him they were going to hell, Etc. I didn't find out about it until after the festival was over. When I did find out about it, I banned him, removed him from invites anything. He is not allowed to come back. Well last week we get an application and a check from him using last year's application he just copied and filled it in. So I sent a response letter to him that unfortunately we weren't able to extend an invitation because we had some complaints about his booth. Well he called me today because he had my phone number from last year's information. He asked me if I was Christian and threatening manner he said he had people that he could bring in to deal with this where he was. He wanted specific examples, and I just wasn't comfortable with that especially after the whole I have people comment. So I referred him to the Village offices. And he can talk to the mayor who is the boss of all of this. It was awful. I told him I wasn't going to get into particulars with him and he needed to call the village office and left it at that.. I don't want to get the village in trouble I will let the mayor take care of it. The guy just needs to go away. The mayor is not one to be messed with. I did manage to make my bed and I'm going to go mop my floors here in a minute to make me feel like I have some control over my life. Hahaha oh Lord

Negative: when we went to the basement this morning, there was water all over the floor. While we are away, I think our water heater went bad. I did notice a couple of weird noises last night when the furnace kicked on. It all runs off the same system and sure enough, the water heater went bad.

Hopefully fixed early next week.

I also read that turning off water bleeding the lines and then turning water back on one faucet at a time helps may fix it.....

We’ve had this happen. It was a pretty quick and inexpensive fix. As dkak said, we had an old plumber butt dude come by and made the fix pretty quickly.
