Honestly, i don’t think tabletop rpgs are for everyone. Different ways of thinking - not better or worse, just different - affect how much fun you can get up to in such a setting. If they’re not your cuppa tea, ok, hope you can find some other endeavor you can enjoy!

That being said, there’re better and worse ways to try ttrpg’s. One of the biggest is to find a group you can relax around and banter with. Another is finding a group that doesn’t take themselves too seriously, but also aren’t purely chaotic. Interpersonal positives can often make good games better, and negatives can drive the fun out.

Good to know! LOL I often wonder about whether the type of person who can’t resist making the joke has limits that are too much even for them. Your humor is usually right up my alley, but there are a couple litsters I can easily imagine grossing themselves out on the regular

I don’t tend to joke about things that make me uncomfortable, and don’t usually feel the need to joke about things that I can see make other people uncomfortable.

But you know mistakes do happen.

I'm curious if anyone here as had a chance to mix their love of the erotic with their love of TTRPGs.

I've written erotic roleplays with people based in established RPG worlds, though I've not got any of the "officially" published sourcebooks for D&D etc.

I have RP’d in a fantasy setting, but not specifically the Forgotten Realms. I love the notion of mixing my smut with my TTRPG (at least in setting, if not actual dice rolling…)
