When you want to reply something so much you can't sit still but....it's the wrong thread. There was a Britt I worked with. He would leave the tea bag in the cup as he was drinking it.
I TOTALLY forgot about Pi day! I always make something pie-ish on that day. Guess I was just thinking of getting out on my travels. I'll just have to have a do-over when I get home. Maybe. Probably not, tho. It's March 14th, also called PI Day.
I don't make the rules.
I sure AF don't follow them.

I'm glad the surgery went well for her. Now comes the hard part. Rehab. She will need you now more than ever. Thanks for all the well wishes! Quick update. She made it through with flying colors! The Bionic Girl rises! Her hubs on the other hand was pulling his hair out! I’ve gained more respect for our medical field over these last three months…I already had but more so now. The good news is I was up all night helping her out and we got to see the lunar eclipse!
Off to iron a shirt for my youngest’s band recital today. Thanks again for prayers and thoughts!
Another Jemez Hot spring.

We used to run around Santa Fe when I lived out in west Texas….wife and I sort of joke it’s where we fell in love. Love it out there, just amazing landscapes. The plan was to retire back out that way…life though…got in the way!absolutely gorgeous place
I believe a wise woman here said one does not need to empty one's bucket in order to fill up the empty buckets of ungrateful, inconsiderate, bitching takers! (Paraphrasing here!)Love you all.
Today will be better.
There is a woman on council that laughs at me and poo poor my responses reactions or when I make a statement tries to explain "what i really mean" like she has to temper what I say....or my feelings and she laughs at me in a public setting....
Miss potassium is done with her.... so there won't be a next time.....
I am tired of busting my ass and emptying my pocketbook both financially emotionally and physically for things that help this poor ass community...and all people do is sit back and take and then fucking bitch about it..like a bunch of entitled white trash scum bags... so the pocketbook is now a coin purse...a small one.
You don't give with the intention of receiving anything including a thank you... but I am going bankrupt so the coin purse it is.
I am ready to groom pasture poodles..grow food...travel to visit friends... play/pet/brush any cat who wants to be my friend... bake cookies....watch the stars with a bonfire...plant flowers....etc.....
Lilianna hasn't stayed up late enough to get a feather massage in a while now! Don't lose those feathers, B2!Fudge...peanut butter is my fave
Fart.... pressure reliever
Friend...need I say more
Feather..right lilianna and B2
Excellent advice, G!@Missk_2022 you have to do what you feel you can cope with. I Chair our Community Association so like the local Council. I just accept that I ain’t going to keep even a majority happy. They turn up at meetings and I let them bitch before saying ..okay I am closing this down and this is what we are going to do. The ones who say thank you make up for the majority who don’t. But, do you know what, without people like us nothing gets done and I am gonna leave this place one day. By then I am determined this community will be better for my footprints so I am going to do it anyway!
I also chair other things and they are all the same by the way… it’s why I have more time for dogs than most people!
Smile and wave… smile and wave MissK
STUNNING!So blessed to look out of the back of my house at early morning views like this
Good call...In that order??![]()
Well, let's take a look. I see dairy, fruit, grain, and chocolate (the most important food group!).May I have a collective view on whether this counts as one my “five a day” given it’s got close to a strawberry at sometime. I am trying to ensure it doesn’t ruin my diet!
Still gutted she's goneWe used to run around Santa Fe when I lived out in west Texas….wife and I sort of joke it’s where we fell in love. Love it out there, just amazing landscapes. The plan was to retire back out that way…life though…got in the way!.
Another wee Irish band…not a traditional song but one you’ll recognize.
Do you need a posse to stand in the back of the room and glare menacingly at her? I nominate Wat, W, H, G, DKA, BSK for starters. I will watch over Mrs H while this fun fest goes down! She is saying love me love me...YOU WILL LOVE ME...hahahaha
Yeah... it is going that way.... why do people do that.... i say what I mean and I say it like I meant too... I don't need people to translate my English to their english.... to try to help me....did I ask for her help....NOPE
And she laughs the whole time like I am her fucking child..... it is maddening
Looks like you have two very viable alternatives, K! I used to make Pro/Con lists when trying to decide on a job. Because of the unquantifiable intangibles, it's not always an exact science but getting your thoughts down on paper seems to help. Then you can sleep on it and make the best decision for you.So sorry you're dealing with that, Miss Potassium. To me the worst part about a personality like that is they drive good people away then look around in confusion when only the dregs are left working on the project and things are going south. *sigh*
For me personally it's decision time. In early February I had a mini-meltdown and quit the job I'd had. I threw a ton of applications at Indeed. Then I heard from a security guard company, and interviewed. They do a lot of training before putting someone in the field (a major plus) and I've seen in the last week just how much they see themselves as a team. Someone calls out sick, or has a schedule conflict and the others try to figure out covering the shift before the supervisors step in. Very cool. To advance very far I'd need to get certified in firearms (training that's valuable for more than the job, mind) and take an armed position. I don't want to be in a situation where I might need to shoot someone as part of my job (I know, I know the odds are very against that happening, but you strap on a gun for your job you accept the risk that you might have to do that). So it'll be two months or more of very part-time work to get my company badge while I train. On the other hand, I was contacted this week (before my security card came in) by a company I thought had passed me up. It's a utility-locating company and their training is 2.5 weeks, paid at my starting rate starting on the 24th. They pay 10% less and don't have as clear a path of advancement. On the other hand it's shift work, forty hours a week, and wouldn't interfere as much with seeing my kiddos. I know which way I'm leaning, just putting this here to get it out of my head.
Apologies for the wall o' text. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday.
I should have read one more post! Great minds!Lots of things to consider....
I know which way I am leaning for you too
Make a pro con chart and compare....let us know what u decide

Oh no! I never thought of that... honestly, the only pie I ever really liked was a homemade quiche (where I omitted the Swiss cheese b/c of an allergy).I hid on pi day..... i was afraid of the attack carbs
Sure and aren't we all a wee bit Irish today? In will soon be going to meet my cousins for a little St Patrick’s Day celebration. Although I am mostly Scottish I have a small bit of Irish in me.
Let me know how I can help... Maybe start a wall of pink in front of the gents? Two-prongDo you need a posse to stand in the back of the room and glare menacingly at her? I nominate Wat, W, H, G, DKA, BSK for starters. I will watch over Mrs H while this fun fest goes down!![]()
Ah, SpringI have to laugh at the weather around here. Today, right now, it's 65F and sunny. Forecast for the next twelve hours? 4-6" of snow and wind watches.
Ooooooohhhhhh! A new baby! We need pics ASAP!And yes hoping to add another to the pile in the next month…. Too young to leave mum yet
I didn't get to see the eclipse. It was raining in the PNW as so often happens during important planetary events. No, but I saw Uranus!
(Not for real, but it’s my standard 5th grade answer for anything that has to do with planetary stuff.)
