I'm reeling her back in!!Tbf, peanut butter has the boring job. You’ve got jelly, preserves and jam. They deserve the recognition
No, just admitting jelly has more flavor and texture options. Peanut butter makes the sandwich!I'm reeling her back in!!

As a kid, I would toast a piece of bread and spread peanut butter on it then sprinkle it with sugar. Can’t do that with jelly…at least I really wouldn’tOk.ok.. baby stepz.

The key for me is finding the right balance of peanut butter and jelly. Too much of either compromises the sandwich. No, just admitting jelly has more flavor and texture options. Peanut butter makes the sandwich!
I'd do that too.. true story. As a kid, I would toast a piece of bread and spread peanut butter on it then sprinkle it with sugar. Can’t do that with jelly…at least I really wouldn’t
I do love grape too. But any dark fruit will do.Grape is right out. Got sick on grape flavor as a kid and can’t do it at all.
Heard about them, never tried it.And if you have never had a Peanut Butter, banana and bacon sandwich you are missing out. It was a favorite of Elvis Presley.
I prefer preserves. I like the bits of fruit!I do love grape too. But any dark fruit will do.
However, the caveat is: it has to be jam, not jelly. Jelly just doesn’t have the full flavor that comes out of jam.
Love them both...but jam or "preserves" seem to be better to me.I do love grape too. But any dark fruit will do.

My dad loves a peanut butter and bologna sandwich with olives. I’m not trying that eitherAnd if you have never had a Peanut Butter, banana and bacon sandwich you are missing out. It was a favorite of Elvis Presley.
This one I know about.Peanut butter and sliced apples is another favorite of mine. Sometimes I am particular and has to be McIntosh Appples but I can usually be persuaded.
That sounds good!My dad loves a bacon and bologna sandwich with olives. I’m not trying that either
Hell, I would try it. Fried bologna sandwiches are pretty delicious too.My dad loves a bacon and bologna sandwich with olives. I’m not trying that either
Until I fixed it to say peanut butterThat sounds good!
Let me back that up and say...sounds interesting.Until I fixed it to say peanut butter![]()
That does not sound quite as good.Until I fixed it to say peanut butter![]()
That would make sense, but no. It’s crunchy peanut butter, slice of bologna and either whole or sliced olives. I remember the bumps in the bread whenever I made him one and thinking “this is fucking gross”That does not sound quite as good.
Also is it that sliced bologna and olive loaf? My mom used to give that to me as a kid.
