Goodnight!Goodnight everyone
Darn it! Another one of my hopes dashed!Only if'n I had said "rassle."
To me, oats are for meatloaf and cookies. Maaaaybe granola. I will never eat cooked oats, porridge, gruel, or whatever one calls it, again. It's a childhood loathing thing.I amuse myself that oats are still made the same ol' way.
They may not be.
I may start buying horse oats from the Amish and cooking those.
Ladies do not use their nails as tools! Unless, of course, special tooling is warranted! And miss all the fun of dirt under the nails?
What kind of weenie talk is that??!?
Yes, sir!You are here by officially instructed to get a 4' stepladder - a proper one, a good one - and to cease using chairs, inverted five gallon buckets, or a box of dog food - as a Vertical Enhancement Device. Please, desist forthwith and hereinafter.
My phone is in a wallet case. My DL, CC, and DC are in it. I rarely use a purse anymore.Yeah, that too.
I suppose the day is coming where I put it all on the phone . . .
and leave the phone at home . . . .
Toaster oven works, too.Don't have one.
Yet . . . .
I remember you talking about them. Too bad she couldn't get them. The landlady found a pair of Belgian girls for sale cheap last year.
Timing was off.
*Puts on naive foreigner demeanour "and what do you like for dessert?"*I know what I would like for dessert
I know, intellectually, the horses are just "machinery" to them. I just can't do that. They do, at a basic change-the-oil level. They also work them. Horses wear out. Those are the ones we see. Like Boxer on Animal Farm.
I know! It was scary. I did hold onto the door handle and then the door frame. But... the lightbulb got changed!I get proud of myself when I do stuff too.... but climbing on a chair....scary!!!!
I agree, mostly. I do treat my dog like my baby.I will preface this with not all Amish are the same. I dont think being Amish is a precursor for not caring for animals..I was speaking about the rescue alone.....they rescue a lot of previously Amish owned animals.... there are a lot of equine animals ( horses, mules, donkeys etc. ) that are neglected by lots of different people... my bff was president of the humane society in her county for 15 years and she has told me stories of blindness from head strikes, overgrown or traumatic injuries to hooves where the horses can barely walk, overuse injuries (too heavy loads for too long) that have caused arthritic changes to joints. Untreated cancers that cause horrific pain, unfloated teeth so they can't eat...horses teeth grown so they can get sharp points that cause pain so they won't eat, malnourished because of poor quality or not enough food. Whip mark scars ( you don't have to beat a horse to make it work and if you do you are the problem and an asshole) etc.....
I dont think animals are people...they don't need to be treated like people.. but they deserve basic care....and kindness
YAAAASSSSS!Our girl gang car
Wat already made a rather firm "suggestion," more like "command!" The thing is, I have one with two steps but it's upstairs. I also have one that's a fold up, one step. It is in the garage. The chair was by the door.May I suggest a small step ladder the next time. It is safer. After all, it’s hard to get a feather massage if you are in a cast!
You got it done, right???Morning all......
I am on the soapbox this am
I haven't even booked hotel for work.trip tomorrow
IKR???Ya have to laugh at the breads labeled whole grain... Nothing whole about them.... Agree on the chocolate thing.... There's chocolate then there chocolate... Drooling
Where is the calcium? In the blood vessels? Or in the heart chambers? It's usually found in the blood vessels. Partly, it's a product of aging. Calcium deposits cause inelasticity of the vessels. What did the cardiologist say? Generally, the Rx is diet and exercise. There are medications that can be given depending on the severity. Also, if the narrowing is too great, a heart cath with a stent can be done to keep the vessel open.My youngest was riding a bit and the gal who ran the little stable acquired a horse that was rejected by the Amish. His legs were too long and hit the bottom of the buggy’s!. That’s the story anyhow…he was a spirited animal, and very beautiful to boot. Just not a buggy horse apparently…
Calcium in my heart CT scan this am. Nurses? Any gouge on how to reduce that? Diet, exercise, blah blah blah…got it, but I’m looking fo the cheat codes?
Happy Montag. Hopefully everyone had a great weekend. I’m gearing up for nursing duty. Cooking duty. Cleaning duty. Head Rubbing duty. When do I go back to work again?
Spring MZ in the White Sands National…

You do. But also, try not to let those slacking use weaponized incompetence to get away with not doing their part!Yeah, that’s the hard part. As long as I’m here I won’t let the mission fail, so when I see gaps I have to address them because ultimately it may result in loss of property or life. I appreciate the support![]()
You go, girl!I hit -80 lbs... my key is drinking water..... if I don't drink enough water I hang on to weight
