What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I often wish my neighbour could have a permanent aphonia or , if it's too difficult.. a recurrent laryngitis could be acceptable too. Just to be liberated from that awful, croaking, obnoxiously loud and continuous droning.

Well, you say that, but there is supposed to be specific size glassware for specific alcohol content. For example, I even see bars serving 10% ABV beers in 16oz glassware which is dumb and irresponsible.
For a long time locally it was the norm to use ice tea glasses for all mixed drinks and beer, back in the day of "all day doubles"...... that includes places like O'Charleys/Chilies etc.... you only saw a highball glass if you were getting a shot........never seemed to be much concern about the type of glass. Obviously thats all changed now, even the grocery clerks here have to get Bev training to sell beer......

I spent several years back in the day in the bar biz....back then it was very different, no bev classes and instruction, you just hired people and put them behind the bar......glass sizes had more to do with saving money on the mixer and what supplier had on sale than anything else..... 🍸
