I would change this post so that it wasn't #100,000.If you could make one small … seemingly insignificant change to the world … what would it be and why?
Or chocolate.Isn't that a thing at Christmas? like... Oreo truffles? Crushed oreos with cream cheese, formed into balls and dipped in white almond bark???
The American Midwest is so delightfully predictable. Party? What is the new cheese ball this year?Isn't that a thing at Christmas? like... Oreo truffles? Crushed oreos with cream cheese, formed into balls and dipped in white almond bark???

What is this style of jacket called in english? In swedish it's a Skepparkavaj, or "sea captain's suit jacket", but google translate tells me it's a Skippers Jacket, but when I search for that all I find are gore-tex windbreakers.
Anyone? Please?

You see? THIS is why I came back to litYayyyy!! Bingo! Thank you so much![]()
Canada is like that too ….To be fair, cilantro is Spanish/Mexican for coriander. So. You're saying it right. Just in a different language.
Plus we don't really do metric vs imperial. (In the UK). We do a weird mix of both depending on what it is you're talking about.
I thought the squirty cheese was a @Wand3rlust thing and the skooshy cheese was a @Daisy_Love thing? Either way, it’s been tooooo long!Technically it started with @Daisy_Love
Originally called Navy pea coat for Dutch Sailors I think. Those flaps I guess were actually intentional and of use.You see? THIS is why I came back to lit
People helping people![]()
Change name to MrUselessInfo??Originally called Navy pea coat for Dutch Sailors I think. Those flaps I guess were actually intentional and of use.
That word pea is derived from another word which I don't remember that means some sort of wool.
...
I think.
Canada is like that too ….
Whoever invented imperial anyway? Stupid ass.
Change name to MrUselessInfo??
Yet, you’re still here
1) …but she’s OUR crazy lady!
The flaps are still useful! At least if you live in a country as cold as mine. The collar is usually really big, just like the flaps. Flip them up around a scarf and you're wonderfully insulated against wind and weatherOriginally called Navy pea coat for Dutch Sailors I think.
