Accusations in Story Feedback

You got Stacnashed. She's a self-appointed vigilante commentator who trawls through stories, applying her own rigid criteria to reviews.

Delete the comment or keep it, it's completely up to you.

There was no breach of site policy that I could see. Your depiction of the twins might have been a tad borderline in terms of the age policy, but you covered your ass by explicitly stating their age in the body of the text, rather than in a lame disclaimer, and you didn't go on too much about their little tits. You obviously got a pass from Laurel, and she's the only arbiter on this site - her site.
To be completely honest here it’s a crap piece of writing.

In regard to the descriptions of the twins body types, with hindsight I agree how they may have been perceived.

They are 19 year old teenagers with slight bodies.

I write about many different ages, body types and cover many themes. It’s a shame the only story accepted so far has been my crappiest writing 😒

In regards to the consent I will always make sure that it is explicit.

I have also taken heed about hashtags. I have only been active on the site for a month so I’m still learning the ropes!

PS. How do I delete/remove comments?

I think the entire purpose of his rant was to try to add credence to his very last line.
As of 1.42am, I am still very much a 25 year old Pisces woman. But since we are all technically anonymous here, being perceived as an old perve isn’t the worst thing going.

I don't generally write in the more polarizing categories, but even so? I have frequently received feedback of that sort, normally in connection with infidelity content.

Many, many readers have a hard time with the concept of "fiction." They seem to assume all of us are embodied in the characters we develop, that all our stories are autobiography, and that we must be damaged in some way.

They do not know you. Give such comments the attention they deserve: delete them mercilessly.
I have run into this issue on apps such as Wattpad too. People love to assume. And that’s fine by me, unless I’m being called a pdf file 🤨 I’m most likely going to be removing that piece and posting more innocent stories until this debacle has died down 😂

Yes! I mean, people even lie about my work on these forums.

I used to publish here a lot back in 2023. A little in 2022 and less so in 2024 before I decided to pull them and regroup. There is a particular user who has convinced himself that my biggest series included a scene in which a character gets buried alive in a metal coffin for a week. This never happened in that story or in any other story I have published nor written for myself. Yet he continues to lie and accuse me not only of having posted a story like that, but of claiming that if this scenario were to happen, it wouldn’t constitute torture. I have never said that on these forums, as links to forum posts this user provided to everybody himself to read on another thread reveal. This is probably the biggest example of slander you will see on this website.

If you’re genuinely artistically transgressive enough and strong-willed enough to call people out and defend your work for what it is on this website, certain users will lie about you, slander your name, insult you, and gang up on you to do so. Just my fair warning to another author receiving hate comments on this site. I got death threats in my comments section, as well, just for writing a story that’s principally about a group of cheating white girls who favor black men.
Oh God, I would absolutely love getting a death threat about anything I wrote on here, story or post on the threads or whatever. That would be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Go to your 'Works' tab and click the little speech bubbles next to the story in question. Each comment will have a trash can icon for deletion.

I think the entire purpose of his rant was to try to add credence to his very last line.

It's the critique method she uses - a standard approach, sometimes astute, but just as often arriving at very odd conclusions, with an overlay of a curiously dated morality.

She reviewed one of my stories - why that particular one I'm not sure, since it was the second of a series, wouldn't you start with the first?

My conclusion was, that she likes anal sex, doesn't like the word cunt, can't quite handle anything that's been written outside America - in terms of different colloquial/cultural uses of language (using "knickers" instead of "panties" as a trivial example).

What she's got against a piss fetish is a bit hard to fathom, but there you are.

Being called a .pdf would definitely make me have a .tiff with whoever said it.

Frequently the site administrators remove inappropriate comments from the stories. For example, I've had comments on some of my stories urging me to kill myself, hoping that I get cancer and die and that I needed to have my head smashed in with a hammer, and these all vanished pretty quickly. I imagine other inappropriate comments would also be removed from other stories too.

Please please PLEASE send all those psychos my way. Seriously. If you want to just tell those douchenozzles that I actually wrote your stories, that's fine with me. I haven't been on the Politics Board since the day after the election, and I could really use some morons to use as punching bags on here to vent all that pent-up frustration.

If they are removed, its because someone else reported them, the site does not go around scanning story comments, they already had that chance and didn't care. The readers and authors are forced to police their site is how it seems to work.

Back in 2014 I almost lost my wife to cancer while spending 24 days at the NIH in Maryland. At the time only a small handful of people here knew what was going on. one very nice and supportive litster met me for dinner along with her husband to get me out of the hospital for a couple of hours and be able to vent a bit. But for every good person out there, is a bad one. After a clash on another forum, I received a comment on a story that "I hope your wife dies, rots in hell and you join her." Anon, but I know who it was. As bad as the comment was, I left it there and watched other readers call out how awful it was, it was removed in a few days, I imagine over being reported.

I know who sent it and e-mailed them that if I ever met them, even if it was twenty years later, I would show them what hell looks like, except they won't be lucky enough to actually be sent there, just wish they were dead. I sent that through the other forum because unlike them, I won't hide behind anon, I also CC'd all their friends with a link to the comment. Think they lost a few after that.

I can be a troll at times, I can be snarky and a bit insulting, but there are things that you never say to anyone, no matter how much they might upset you let alone over a fictional story that has fuck all to do with that reader, you especially never talk about their wives or kids. Just never. Someone I mentioned this to prior said "Well, its a porn site, you get some sick people." But it has nothing to do with porn, this is the internet, the land of bandwidth courage and hate with no repercussions.

I wanted to open up a discussion about something that's been bothering me. I recently posted a story, Double Trouble, which explores consensual degradation and other kinks that are widely present in erotica, particularly on this platform. While I fully expect differing opinions and even strong critiques, I was taken aback by a comment that didn't just criticize my writing but also accused me of being "only interested in my own deviancy" and falsely claimed I was violating the site's guidelines.

What confuses me is that my story is hardly unique in its themes-many stories on here explore taboo and extreme kinks without facing such accusations. I wrote this piece as a request for a friend, which makes the claim that it reflects some kind of personal perversion even more absurd. It's one thing to dislike a story, but it's another to attack an author's character based on assumptions.

I'm curious-have any of you encountered similar responses to your work?

I want to be open to feedback, but I also feel there should be a line between critique and outright hostility.

Looking forward to your feedback! 🥰
I can't remember if I've had such criticism, but I could have. I wouldn't have given it a second thought. An individual with distorted views about my writing. Meh...

I'm pretty sure Stacnash trolls through the forums. I got a 'review' on a story soon after posting in a thread about her.

While some of the points were perfectly valid, the tone and viciousness made the unasked-for critique not worth keeping.

I just looked up this Stacnash and perused his (it's probably a he) list of stories organized accordingly the rating he gives as well as "disqualified" authors whom he claims have at some point broken Lit's rules or had their work sent back (how would he know if they had?). I'm glad I've never encountered this person before and hope it stays that way.

On the upside, since the dashboard alerts tell you who made a comment, you can often save time by deleting them unread, once you know the person has nothing worthwhile to say.

I fortunately don't receive much negative feedback, but when I do, it has typically come from a reader who didn't comprehend something in the story our understood the characters involved.

I never delete comments, instead relying upon other reader comments to put the negative commenters in their place.

I'd love to do that, but I tend not to write in high-engagement categories. I doubt a "comment war" is likely to emerge in one of my stories. I get very few comments overall; I delete almost none of them, unless they're flat-out trollish.

It's very common to get accused of all sorts of things when you publish here. I've been called, a cheating wife, a cheating girlfriend, a perverted little slut (that one might hit close to home), a deviant degenerate, a thief (not for stealing a story but because a whore stole a man's money in story), fem lesbian Nazi, and other disgusting things.
