No, but trump called Zelensky a dictator, blamed Ukraine/Zelensky for starting the war, said Zelensky is unpopular and called for a new election. Translation: Trump is four square behind Putin after probably receiving a threat of pee tape release (stick) and a trump hotel in Moscow in 2030 (carrot).

I suspect it's more Trump listening to Tucker Carlson, who for some reason has been vociferously pro-Putin for a long time. Add in that for some reasom Trump has a bitch over Ukraine because of Biden.....
One hopes cooler heads prevail, but if they don't, well, Trump will lose this fight. The EU is all in on side with Ukraine now and when they do get their asses into gear, they CAN move.

This has been "rumoured" before of course, but Italy is reportedly sending Centauro 1 wheeled tank destroyers to Ukraine, according to defense expert Nicholas Drummond and various military sources. The Centauro 1 is noted for its mobility, which will enhance the responsiveness of Ukrainian units. Equipped with a 105 mm gun, the vehicle is effective against infantry assaults and capable of defeating Russian armored fighting vehicles (AFVs). The specific variant of the Centauro being sent remains unclear, but this addition is seen as a significant enhancement to Ukraine's military capabilities amidst ongoing conflict.
There's a number of variants but about 750 were produced in total, so theoretically. Italy could send a significant number.
