Sex & Shenanigans

if you could orchestrate the perfect society … how would it look to you and what are some core values that you believe should be essential to a healthy, happy and prosperous society.
Universal healthcare for everyone
proper human rights for everyone
universal base income
lower the goddamn rent
Literally no one goes hungry. Ever.
no big money in politics

The sad thing is that all of these things are attainable in theory. But the ghouls of the world are just way to happy letting late-stage capitalism, greed, and cruelty destroy us.

And... how much is enough? I mean, how much do the billionaire ghouls (redundancy noted) need before it is enough?

More. Always more.

Youre giving capitalism way too much credit here versus basic human depravity. Why blame the devil when people are evil enough on their own?

Fair, capitalism is just a system designed by people though. In other countries, they've found ways to put checks on capitalism that allow for societies that at least look and feel more just than America's. Americans, in their mass depravity, have allowed themselves to believe that there's always some 'other' who should be beneath them on the ladder. We were never the homogenous society that many European nations were, so we were never willing to lay that groundwork out of fear that the 'other' might be out on equal footing with us.

Hmm.
Next thought experiment she dumps on us should be more simple.

Maybe...

"What does it mean to be perfect? If a thing is perfect to you, does that make it then a perfect thing?"

That's a great question. Is perfection subjective? It's like, what do you think constitutes success? Does your idea of success = my idea of success?

That said, I think lasagna is about as close to a perfect food as you can get.
