It is more work than that. Unlike here you can't show up 9 months pregnant and drop a kid for him or her to be a citizen. Even if they do jump through the hoops the baby is not an anchor allowing the parents to apply for citizenship. They have to follow normal process. Which is pretty lax. There aren't many that really want to go there. At least what you would consider desirables. Toronto used to be an awesome city. Now it is so full of foreigners and poverty you are kind of stuck in certain enclaves. It is still difficult to work in Canada. You can go and live as an American. To gain citizenship and become employed not really worth it unless you have to. Taxes on high! Socialism is expensive!What??? Are you really that ignorant of other countries laws???
