Never eaten a parrot. Wonder what it tastes like.
It is supposed to be tough.

There is a bush recipe I know. Boil a pot of water. Add the breasts of four parrots. Use a brick to hold them down. Add salt, pepper, and what ever herbs you have at hand. After four hours on hot coals, drain the pot, discard the parrots and eat the brick.
