That hit us yesterday morning/the night before.

Morning commute was a little sketch but nothing crazy. Almost slipping and looking like I was breakdancing on the way to the garage to get the salt was the worst part.

Also, apparently I overdid it a bit with the Salt because there's ALOT left on the sidewalk. 🤣

My whole fucking car is covered in salt …. It’s the only thing that really bothers me about cold weather.

We had one on Wednesday too. Had a car take a corner to fast in the ice and ended up in my front yard at 3 in the morning.

Meanwhile in the Deep South the high today was 75 (24-ish for you weirdos)

My boss told me to drive safe when I was leaving that morning. I was like, if by that you mean recreate Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, yes!

I remember Butthole Surfers and Nada Surf (“know how to surf? Nah how ta surf? Nah-h-ta surf? Nada surf?”) came out around the same time…both one hit wonders…one sang Pepper, the other sang Popular. I like both, but for the life of me, even like…28ish(?) years later, I could not tell you which band played which song, and I am usually a human Shazam when it comes to 90s songs. Apparently not when it comes to Nada Butthole Surfers playing Peppular 🤦🏻‍♀️

Nada Surf is one of best and underrated bands of last 30 years. They probably have 150 songs better than Popular. Wild that is what people know them for. Here is one example.


Butthole Surfers had hit with Pepper and were one of the scariest bands I have ever seen live. Supposed to be a documentary coming out about them. Here is trailer.
