Sex & Shenanigans

Ok … question for all.

What is the strangest animal you’ve ever eaten.

In this regard I’m boring…. I’ve eaten Mako shark.
Uh.... I personally think that Eating crab legs are strange....
Some might think earring deer is strange....
Same with squirrel and frog legs....

Fish are friends.... Not food....

I definitely think earring deer are strange.

I don't think I've ever seen someone wearing that type of earring before tbh. :ROFLMAO:

I was just talking to friends earlier about the best ways to prepare deer. It’s famously an incredibly lean meat, so you have to prepare it differently than other red meats because it’ll get dry quick

Slow cooking works well, as long as you keep it submerged and be careful not to overcook it. It dries out and gets tougher even in liquid.
But if you pay attention, it works very well, especially if you combine it with beef or pork

So, from what I understand is this statute ONLY includes nuisance beavers that you trap on your property... which means it HAS to be retained??? This article has got to be the absolute dumbest thing I've ever read.
My question is... is it legal to eat a beaver that ISN'T a nuisance... like, can I just go pluck a cute little beaver that's minding it's own business and eat it???
"I'm thinning the herd!"

Emu, ostrich, shark (many people have -- a lot of less scrupulous restaurants served it as more expensive halibut), turtle, octopus (tasty, but never again, and I feel bad about it), crickets, squid, rattlesnake, puppy, and a cobra venom sack (it's a long and stupid story, but spoiler: don't do that). Also probably a bunch of other stuff I have no idea about while living in Japan.
