Greetings and Salutations everyone.. I've got interesting weather it was relatively warm last night and this morning. With rain even, now a cold front is coming through and they are forecasting dangerously cold temperatures for Monday and Tuesday.. (It's Saturday afternoon here)

Greetings and Salutations everyone.. I've got interesting weather it was relatively warm last night and this morning. With rain even, now a cold front is coming through and they are forecasting dangerously cold temperatures for Monday and Tuesday.. (It's Saturday afternoon here)

It is, now we're waiting for the prize ceremony to hear the results...

My sister + partner are competing in Senior 1-2 which means 35+ (younger partner can be even just 30) though I think her partner is old enough for Sen 3 (55+), and both are definitely above 50yo. So, basically they are competing against dancers even 20 years younger, because their own agegroup is smaller and it's no challenge skill-wise. But of course age does a number on anyone - that's why even a place in the final is Excellent News!

Right now its minus 9 C with 46 KM/H winds.. On Monday its going to be minus 13C and Tuesday Minus 14C

All tourists don't get that while we may have -20°C even in southern Finland, it's really 0...-5 most of the days.

Föhn with ö, not o (different letter), or then written Foehn.
It's a wind that blows down from the mountains, and it has warmed up because it had to give up most humidity upon climbing the other side. It can heat the are up even 14 degrees.

The name is from the wind blowing down the Alps, but here it's the same phenomenon, just wind from Atlantic is blowing over the Scandinavian mountains to Finland.

Yes, she's fit in a way that shows, and pretty, a gorgeous creature all in all. And with a damn sharp brain. I think she needs to dress down to be taken seriously at work, though... If she was a barrister, she could confuse opponents with her looks, though. I mean, I've seen men literally drop things from their hands in addition to jaws.

I guess it's confusing... In some situations it doesn't change the letter if there are 2 dots, but with ä and ö it does. At least in Scandinavian alphabet.

Two days until my daughter leaves for France. She’s out tonight with her college roommate but before she went I gave her a photo book of Provence where she’ll be staying. She loved it! She has a strict weight limit for the flight so the book is staying here but she got a Kindle for Christmas so I’m sure she’ll be loaded up with reading for fun in addition to school work.

I had this one weird fantasy the night before (in the middle of the night really) and then my mind went on to make up half a story of it, except only a tiny fraction of the original fantasy remained... Such a shame I'm not one to get stories written. It wouldn't be a short one, nor even a light one - the starting point is rather heavy. Just a happy ending, but I don't even have the ending thought of clearly.
