Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense

You said the Nation was founded on Christian values and then you posted facts that say the exact opposite.

Are you a Bobo?
Yes idiot. This country was founded on Christian values. Go read about the founders for once and see what they believed. I’ll just quote the article, again, you know, the one you obviously DIDN’T READ, and for God’s sake, try and let it sink into that thick fucking skull you call a cranium for once.

Despite these clear intentions for separation, many Founders held personal religious beliefs that influenced their outlook on moral and ethical governance. Figures like George Washington, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin exhibited varying degrees of religious devotion while supporting religious freedom and pluralism.

Quit proving my point for me.

The Democrats have nothing to offer except misery and incompetence. Wherever they rule disaster follows nd Americans know it.
As evidenced by my back and forth with one of the resident dolts…they don’t know their history either…

Then why do we have to pull America out of Republican recessions all the damn time?

The only point you’re proving is you don’t know shit about our founding fathers and what helped shape their decisions.
"Shaped" and "founded on" are two very different things, HelplessHornBlower.

You would think the whole SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE would have given you a damn clue.

Why do you need convincing that you're wrong? Do we have to show you how wrong you are in pictures?

When you're not fluent in Looney-Tunes then with some it's hard to make oneself understood.

The moto 'In God We Trust' first appeared on paper currency in 1957.

That's in my lifetime.

I'm surprised to see a religious symbol in a religious cathedral. Since when did that come in?

And those famous Christians, Confucius and Solon. Wiki needs updating regarding their life stories. When did Moses become a Christian anyway?

I think it's more like he ate his crayon.

"In God we trust" didn't appear on money until 100 years after the founding fathers died.

How much more wrong could you possibly be?

National Cathedral was built over 200 years after the founding fathers died.

😁😂🤣

So you're trying to tell us that the US wasn't founded on Christian principles because the words didn't appear for almost another 100 years?

Yeah, that totally misses the point. Which is that if the founders didn't have Christian values, then the phrase wouldn't have appeared at all.

It's the NATIONAL Cathedral, not your local cardboard box church.

BTW, Moses talked to God. That kind of makes him a Christian since other religions, for the most part, don't even acknowledge the existence of the Christian God.

Which makes one wonder; are you FUCKING STUPID or something?

So you're trying to tell us that the US wasn't founded on Christian principles because fiat currency didn't appear for almost another 100 years?

Yeah, that totally misses the point. Which is that if the founders didn't have Christian values, then the phrase wouldn't have appeared at all.
No, simpleton. YOU brought currency info the conversation. YOU brought the National Cathedral into the conversation.

Neither had to with the founding fathers and the shape of our nation.

You stuck your nose in and got it chopped off.
