I wished they'd pinned Hegpeth down on the exact number of female workers at Fox who were renumerated for Hegpeth's "alleged" sexual misconduct and forced to sign NDAs as a condition of their payoff. I'm guessing the number is at least in the low two digits.I'm not sure having a bunch of deranged women scream at Pete Hegseth was a good strategic move. A lot of people are going to see the clips and immediately relate to Hegseth, not the lunatics ranting and waving their arms like inflatable tube men.
Joni Ernst, the senator from Iowa, indicated she'd vote to approve Hegpeth's nomination last night. This is especially relevant as Ernst has fund-raised hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result of her publicizing the alleged sexual assault(s) she endured at the hands and penises of members of her Army unit whilst deployed in Iraq.
Since her election to the US Senate, her public relations staff has positioned herself as the public face of sexual abuse in the military, and she has squawked for weeks about how she had 'tough' questions for roofie-boy Hegpeth. When push came to shove, though, Ernst rolled over and asked for a belly rub.
Of course, Derpy has lectured us time and again that from a legal standpoint, if a woman didn't immediately report her assault(s) with authorities, it's simply 'morning after regret', so there is that.
