Florida Bans Pornhub.

Pointing out that you're a lying pile of shit isn't scared of anything.

You're literally running from your lies. (y) (y) :D
More name calling because you can't defend the position you're running away from.
Maybe this time you will have better luck next time.

It’s not about kids.

“Age verification systems are surveillance systems,” says the Electronic Frontier Foundation. “Once information is shared to verify age, there’s no way for a website visitor to be certain that the data they’re handing over is not going to be retained and used by the website, or further shared or even sold.”

Opponents also argue there are less intrusive ways to stop children from accessing adult content — such as stronger parental controls on devices. Given that, they argue, why should adults be required to expose their identity simply to access a legal and constitutionally protected art form?

What the US PornHub ‘ban’ is really about

That’s exactly what I’ve pointed out several times.

Maybe you’ll have better luck next time.
You haven't pointed out anything.

You put out some ascription, some projection and then you wormed about while claiming victory.

Pathetic fucktard status. You must be a public employee and Democrat voter.....

LOL! I literally pointed it out in writing on Thursday. You are the entertainment gift that just keeps giving.

The title says that FL ban's porn hub. That is not true. Porn hub is free to have content in FL. The issue in FL is that they are trying to protect children. That intention is good. The problem is that there is no way to do it. Also, the age restrictions are not the same on a global level and the internet is on a global level. It is a complex topic. Using a child for sex is disgusting. But I don't know how to set a magic age that pertains to everyone. Some grow up faster and some slower. The idea of some people sitting around and coming up with the "correct" age is flawed. I don't think there is any one age that can be stated where it would be universally it is valid. In some parts of the world girls are very ready for sex at 16 and it is legal. But even in such places that doesn't mean that all girls in that area would be ready. Trying to make "one size fits all laws" is really complicated.

There are children here now. Maybe not of age but certainly in mind. I could easily list them, but that’s another matter, my point is this: As a Christian conservative concerned about our young being exposed to porn, I want Lit to fall in line just like PornHub. One of the most low hanging fruits to do so would be to ban profile pics containing nudity.

I’m sure you would agree.

This is actually a good post. It IS a very complex issue. Everyone grows up at different rates, and some never really do.

I know several people on this very forum who claim to be adults (one even claims- obvioulsy falsely- to be a lawyer!) but have the mind set of children, and who I certainly do not think ought to be browsing adult content.

If we're going to have an age-of-consent law at all, it has to be the same for everybody.

I think if you're old enough to die for your country, you should be considered an adult and have all the privileges (and responsibilities and penalties) associated with being such. I'm kinda surprised the US isn't more uniform. Several states list AOC at 16 and Washington is 21.

The MAGATs will never agree to that. That's why Gaetz chose which state to traffic his girlfriend, why Trump chose which state to assault Epstein's hire.

It would force them to go to places like The Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand to pursue their interests whilst bleating about The Demz.
