I was speaking in terms of resemblance. Whenever I saw someone ordering raisinettes at the movies, I gave them a wide berth.

Raisins =/= Raisinettes

However, raisins never belong in a baked goods

I don’t have strong feelings for or against raisins. But I think cinnamon raisin bread makes a great bread pudding base.

on the few rare occasions that i have had bread pudding, i was not impressed. very far down on the dessert rankings for me. i would rather have an oatmeal raisin cookie.
